Stay safer wherever you go. Know who you're meeting before you meet.

VeraID is a voluntary identity verification platform designed to help people make more informed decisions during in-person encounters. Whether you're meeting someone new, hiring a local service provider, or exploring a new destination, VeraID helps you verify who you are meeting.

HOW IT WORKS

Service providers voluntarily register using a government-issued identity document and a facial photo. Once approved, each provider receives a unique six-digit TRU ID.

Visitors enter the TRU ID to view the provider's verified profile, review their identity information, and create a timestamped check-in for their personal safety record.

FOR VISITORS & TRAVELERS

• Verify registered individuals and service providers using their TRU ID.
• View their verified name, photo, and registration status.
• Create a timestamped check-in with one tap.
• Maintain a private history of your encounters.
• Report safety concerns and include supporting photographic evidence.
• Receive in-app updates regarding submitted reports.

VERIFICATION ACCESS

VeraID is free to download. Visitors can access identity verification features through paid plans available within the app.

Registration and identity verification are completely free for service providers.

SAFETY FIRST

Every provider profile is reviewed before activation. VeraID's incident-reporting system allows visitors to report safety concerns and submit supporting evidence. Reported accounts may be reviewed, restricted, or suspended when necessary.

Identity verification does not guarantee someone's intentions, behavior, or personal safety. Always take appropriate precautions when meeting unfamiliar people.

VeraID does not endorse, arrange, or facilitate any specific service or personal encounter. It is an independent identity verification and safety tool designed to help users make more informed decisions.

Available in English for visitors and Spanish for service providers.
