Riggaton is a practical rigging calculator designed to help climbers, rope access technicians, rescue professionals, and rigging users estimate forces in common rope systems.

With Riggaton, you can calculate:

• Y-hang load distribution between two anchors
• Deviation forces based on the included angle
• Slope forces caused by gravity
• Theoretical mechanical advantage for pulley systems
• Pull force required for simple, compound, and complex mechanical advantage systems

The app provides an interactive drawing canvas where you can place and move points, adjust rope layouts, and visualize how rigging geometry affects forces. Mechanical Advantage mode lets you build pulley systems with anchors, loads, redirects, sheaves, and rope-grab pulleys, and includes a clear summary badge showing the system type and theoretical pull force.

Key features:

• Y-Hang mode for two-anchor load sharing
• Deviation mode for estimating force at a deviation point
• Slope mode for estimating gravity-based load force
• Mechanical Advantage mode for pulley system analysis
• Support for simple, compound, and complex MA systems
• Interactive canvas with movable points
• Adjustable load value and units
• Optional background image support for planning/reference
• Local-only calculations with no account required

Riggaton is intended as an educational and planning aid. Calculations are theoretical and may not account for real-world factors such as friction, pulley efficiency, rope stretch, knots, anchor condition, edge contact, dynamic loading, or environmental conditions. Always use proper training, judgment, and applicable safety standards when working with rope systems.
