Fortune Garuda doesn't try to complicate the rules where everything is already clear. There's a cannon on the screen, limited to a square playing area, and balls that appear throughout the level. Each ball doesn't last just one hit: it has a lifespan, which immediately changes the way you approach each shot. The player doesn't just need to hit it once and forget about it, but rather finish the target before the situation collapses.

In Fortune Garuda, each level sets its own requirement: destroy a certain number of balls before moving on. The higher the level, the more lives the ball can have, meaning the cost of a mishit increases. A hit removes one life. It sounds simple, but in practice it quickly becomes clear: the cannon, the angle, the timing of the shot, and the ball's behavior after impact determine almost everything.

The main feature of Fortune Garuda is physics. The ball doesn't disappear after being hit and doesn't act like a static target. It bounces, changes trajectory, and can end up in an awkward spot, forcing the player to quickly re-arrange their next shot. All balls obey physics rules, so the screen doesn't feel like a pre-rehearsed pattern. Even a familiar situation can unfold slightly differently if the player hesitates, shoots too early, or chooses an awkward angle.

Fortune Garuda is well-suited for those who enjoy short levels with a clear objective but dislike empty mechanics without consequences. There's no need to understand unnecessary modes or memorize dozens of rules. Everything is visible right on the screen: the cannon, the balls, the life pool, the dangerous floor, and the level goal. But behind this simplicity lies a significant gameplay challenge. You need to keep track of multiple objects, account for bounces, maintain control, and bring each ball to its destruction.

In the early stages, Fortune Garuda gives you time to get used to the controls and ball behavior. Later, the game becomes more demanding. The balls are more durable, mistakes are less forgiving, and the habit of shooting blindly begins to hinder you. The player gradually learns not just to tap when the target is near, but to estimate where it will go after hitting it. This is a small but important difference. It's what separates casual play from confident play.

Fortune Garuda emphasizes clean, straightforward gameplay in a side-view 2D perspective. Levels are uncluttered with unnecessary actions: all attention is focused on the ball, the cannon, and the risk of falling. This format is convenient for quick play sessions, but it doesn't feel disposable. When a try is lost due to a single touch of the floor, you immediately want to repeat the level and do it properly, without that silly mistake at the end.

Fortune Garuda is built on honest logic: hit – lose a life, finish – get closer to the transition, misplay – restart the level. The player always understands why they won or lost. This is an important quality for an arcade game, where frustration quickly sets in when the outcome seems random. In Fortune Garuda, randomness exists only in movement and bounces, but responsibility remains with the player.

Fortune Garuda may seem simple at first, but this simplicity is not empty. It serves as a foundation for precise decisions, quick fixes, and frustrating but fair misses. It's satisfying to destroy a durable ball with a last, lucky shot, especially when it's about to fall. And even more satisfying to complete a level where everything has broken several times on the last touch.

Fortune Garuda is a 2D game for those who want a clear goal, physical behavior of objects, a neat difficulty, and levels where victory depends not on unnecessary embellishments, but on precision, endurance, and proper timing!
