Reclaim your attention and break scrolling addiction with Doom Room.

Mindless scrolling relies on muscle memory and seamless app transitions. Doom Room breaks this loop by introducing intentional, high-friction cognitive barriers ("Doom Rooms") between you and your most distracting apps. Whenever you attempt to launch an intercepted app, Doom Room prompts you to complete randomized, interactive micro-challenges to confirm if you truly want to proceed.

KEY FEATURES:

◆ Real-Time Barrier Intercepts
Our low-overhead accessibility automation intercepts addictive distractor apps instantly upon launch. You are paused before you can drift into mindless feeds, giving you back control of your time.

◆ Multi-Stage Cognitive Challenges
Choose your difficulty levels and the number of challenges (from 3, 5, or 10 steps) to pass through the door. The challenges are dynamically randomized so your brain never adapts to them:
• Patience Cooldown: Focus on a steady countdown to settle impulse behavior.
• Simon Challenge: A visual pattern memory test that requires deep focus.
• Dynamic Double Math: Sharp, randomly generated arithmetic trials to wake up your analytical prefrontal cortex.
• Typing Thresholds: Non-repeating custom phrases that must be entered exactly.
• Regulated Breathing: Follow calming patterns to reduce screen-seeking anxiety.

◆ Deep Customization
Customize your distraction filters, motivational phrases, and challenge counts to align with your personal productivity goals.

◆ Strict Uninstall Protection
Enable accountability buddy verification. Secure Uninstall Protection ensures you cannot simply bypass the shield in a moment of temptation without answering uninstall challenges or getting your account verification partner’s approval.

HOW IT WORKS:
Doom Room leverages standard Android Accessibility APIs to detect the launch of distracting apps in real-time. By inserting a brief, conscious pause between the craving and the action, Doom Room trains your brain of mindless habits to foster long-term digital focus. No background data is uploaded or processed; your focus history remains 100% private in your local offline database.

Reclaim your focus. Escape the loop. Enter the Doom Room.
