FlowAudio — Auto Volume Control by GPS Speed

FlowAudio is an automatic volume control app for drivers that raises and lowers your music, podcast, or audiobook volume based on your real-time GPS speed — no more reaching for the volume knob every time you go from a quiet side street to the highway. It's speed-based volume control for cars, motorcycles, and convertibles, built to fight road noise automatically so you always hear your audio at the right level, hands-free.

HOW IT WORKS
Turn it on once and FlowAudio runs quietly in the background — even with your screen off — reading speed straight from your phone's GPS chip. As your driving speed changes, it smoothly fades your media volume between five customizable speed tiers:

Tier 0 (0+ km/h) — quiet floor volume, always on
Tier 1 (30+ km/h) — city driving volume
Tier 2 (50+ km/h) — main road volume
Tier 3 (100+ km/h) — highway driving volume
Tier 4 (140+ km/h) — high-speed volume boost
Every threshold and volume level is fully customizable, and Tiers 1–4 can each be switched off individually if you only want three volume levels instead of five.

SMOOTH, NOT JUMPY
Raw GPS speed data is noisy, so FlowAudio smooths every reading before making a volume decision, then fades to the new volume over about a second instead of snapping instantly. The result: smart, seamless volume adjustment with no jarring jumps as you accelerate or brake near a threshold.

SPEED SENSITIVITY CONTROL
A single slider lets you make the volume tiers more subtle (closer together) or more aggressive (further apart) without manually re-tuning all five levels — handy for noisy cabins, convertibles, or motorcycles that need stronger road-noise compensation.

WORKS WITH YOUR HARDWARE VOLUME TOO
Press your phone's physical volume buttons any time and FlowAudio's display updates instantly to match — it never fights your manual adjustments.

WEAR OS COMPANION APP
Pair with the FlowAudio Wear OS watch app to:

View and adjust all five volume tiers and the sensitivity setting from your wrist
Enable or disable individual tiers on the go
Stop the service mid-drive without touching your phone
For safety, activation always starts from the phone.

BUILT FOR DRIVING
Background GPS tracking — keeps working with the screen off, no need to keep your phone unlocked
Live notification shows your current speed and volume at a glance
Accidental-shutoff protection — stopping the service requires a deliberate long-press, so a stray tap on your dashboard mount won't shut it off mid-drive
Reliable state persistence — survives screen rotation and reopening the app without losing your settings or restarting GPS

WHO IT'S FOR
Commuters, road-trippers, motorcycle riders, convertible drivers, and anyone who listens to music, podcasts, or audiobooks in the car and is tired of manually adjusting volume for road noise, city traffic, or highway speed.

PRIVACY-FIRST GPS
FlowAudio reads only your speed, never your coordinates. Raw location data is never stored, logged, or transmitted, and the app works fully offline for its core GPS and volume features. Anonymized usage events and crash reports are sent to Firebase to help us fix bugs and understand basic usage — never anything about where you've been or how fast you were going. Full details are in the in-app Privacy & Terms screen.

GOOD TO KNOW
Requires a GPS-capable Android device; high-accuracy GPS mode uses roughly 5–10% battery per hour while active
In tunnels or underground areas without GPS signal, volume stays at its last set level until signal returns
Volume is not automatically restored to its pre-activation level when you stop the service
Please configure your settings before driving, not while behind the wheel
FlowAudio is the smart, automatic way to manage driving volume — set your speed tiers once, and let your speed do the rest.
