Shush Hour - the app that you can count on to keep you quiet!

We've all been there: when someone asks you to stay quiet and you listen, but forget all about it after 3 minutes. Shush Hour has your back. It listens to the room in real-time, and the moment things get too loud, it lets out a loud "SHHHH!" - so you don't have to feel guilty.

HOW IT WORKS
Tap to activate, and Shush Hour starts monitoring. A big live dial shows exactly how loud it is right now with an estimated decibel count. Cross the line, and your chosen reminder sound fires off to bring the peace back. That's it.

FEATURES
🎚️ Real-time noise meter - watch the volume rise and fall on a big dial.
🔊 A whole cast of reminder sounds — from a classic "SHHHH!" to chirping crickets, a polite throat-clear, and more.
🎙️ Record your own — want YOUR voice doing the shushing? Record a custom reminder in seconds.
📂 Upload your own — already have the perfect sound? Bring it right in.

PERFECT FOR
• Hangouts at a house, when you don’t want to wake anyone up.
• Reminding YOURSELF to keep quiet: during late-night gaming, binging or culinary experiments, while living with other people.
• Basically everything else you can think of!

YOUR PRIVACY IS RESPECTED
While it's monitoring, Shush Hour uses the microphone only to measure how loud the room is, right there on your device. It doesn't record or save what's being said, there are no accounts, no ads, and nothing ever leaves your phone but crash logs. What happens in the room stays in the room.

THE APP IS NOT PERFECT
Your phone’s microphone isn’t built as a professional monitoring tool.
This app isn’t a professional tool, it’s just a fun app that’s supposed to be useful - but not taken too seriously.
