Can you describe PIZZA without saying Italian, round, cheese or oven? That's Redword: a forbidden word party game where one player describes, the team shouts out guesses, and four forbidden words turn every clue into a challenge.

🎯 HOW TO PLAY
Split into two teams, or play in individual mode. Hand one phone to the player who's describing. They see a word and its four forbidden words (the taboo list for that card); everyone else guesses out loud before the timer runs out.
• Guessed it? Tap Correct: +1 point.
• Too tough? Skip it (3 skips per round).
• Someone said a forbidden word? Hit the red Forbidden button: −1 point.
Then pass the phone to the other team. The team with the most points wins.

🎉 WHAT'S INSIDE
• 2,800+ words across 46 categories: animals, food, jobs, sports, technology, feelings and more
• 4 difficulty levels: Beginner, Medium, Hard and Mixed
• Team vs team, or individual mode that saves your best score for every setting
• 30, 45 or 60-second rounds, or set your own timer
• House rules: choose 3 or 5 skips per round (or no limit) and turn the −1 penalty on or off
• No repeats: cards you've played won't come back until you've been through the whole deck
• Play in English, Turkish, Russian or Azerbaijani
• Each language has its own deck, written for that language, not a word-for-word translation
• Dark and light themes

👥 ANY GROUP SIZE
Three friends at a cafe or twenty people at a party: split into two teams of any size and play on one phone. For quick rounds, individual mode tracks your personal best.

📴 PLAYS OFFLINE
No Wi-Fi, no account, no sign-up. Open it and start a round on the bus, in a cabin, on a flight or anywhere the signal drops.

📦 THEMED WORD PACKS
Want more? Add 250 words at a time with one-time purchases: Football, Film & Series (movies and TV shows), Classic Cartoons and Anime. No subscription. Buy once, keep forever.

Ads never interrupt a round, and you can remove them forever with one small purchase.

💡 TIPS FOR GREAT CLUES
• Tell a tiny story instead of giving a definition
• Start broad, then narrow it down
• Skip fast: the clock is your real opponent

🗣️ PRACTICE A LANGUAGE
Learning English, Turkish or Russian? Switch the language and describe words in the one you're practicing. It's a fun speaking exercise with friends or in class.

🎈 WHEN TO PLAY
Game night with friends, family dinners, house parties, birthdays, road trips, classrooms and icebreakers. Any time a group of people looks at each other and asks "so... what now?" The Beginner level keeps it easy for mixed groups; Hard will test even your wordiest friend.

Redword is a word guessing party game made for people in the same room: one phone, two teams, lots of shouting. If you love describing words, word guessing games and team games for game night with friends and family, this is the party game to keep on your phone.
