SyncDrive: UI for Rclone brings the ultimate power of the command-line rclone tool straight to your Android device with a clean, intuitive, and modern graphical interface. Effortlessly manage, synchronize, and back up your local folders to various cloud storage providers with just a few taps.

Whether you are a power user, a developer, or someone looking for a robust self-hosted backup solution, SyncDrive bridges the gap between rclone’s legendary backend performance and mobile convenience.

🚀 KEY FEATURES

• Native Cloud Integration: Connect seamlessly to Google Drive and Dropbox using secure, modern authentication standards (OAuth 2.0 & PKCE) without exposing your sensitive credentials.
• Bi-directional Synchronization: Set up flexible sync pairs between your phone’s internal storage and your cloud remotes to ensure your data is always up to date.
• Background Sync Operations: Keep your file transfers running reliably in the background via Android Foreground Services, preventing the system from interrupting your sync queues.
• Advanced Remote Management: Create, update, or delete rclone remotes directly inside the app.
• Offline-First Resilience: SyncDrive safely stores your localized configurations encrypted within your app space, ensuring your configuration remains intact.

🛡️ PRIVACY & SECURITY FIRST

• Zero Third-Party Servers: Your data never touches our servers. SyncDrive communicates directly between your Android device and your chosen cloud provider.
• PKCE Enhanced Security: Built strictly following the RFC 8252 security standards for mobile applications, eliminating old insecure local webserver callbacks.
• Open & Transparent: SyncDrive respects user privacy. Your rclone.conf credentials are kept strictly localized on your device.

📋 IMPORTANT PERMISSION NOTICE

To deliver its core functionality, SyncDrive requires the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access) permission.
As a specialized backup and file synchronization manager, this permission is strictly utilized to:
1. Scan and detect changes in your selected local folders to sync them with the cloud.
2. Read, write, and safely download files back to your device's storage.
Without this permission, the core file synchronization feature will not function. We do not access or collect any files outside of your explicitly selected sync paths.
