Date is a dating app for people who would rather go on a date than chat about one. Every profile shows the first date that person would like to go on: what it is, when, and who pays. You swipe on the plan as well as the face, and when you match, the plan is already on the table.

Less small talk. More real dates.

HOW IT WORKS

• Build your Perfect Date. Pick what you would enjoy (coffee, a sunset walk, live music, dinner, a museum and many more), choose when you are free, set the vibe and say who pays.
• Swipe on the plan. Every card leads with a real date idea, so you know what meeting this person would look like before you decide.
• Choose the exact date. Someone has more than one plan? Scroll through them and swipe right on the one you want.
• Match and lock it in. Propose a day and time, agree on it together, and the confirmed date gets its own card in your chat.
• Show up. A reminder before the date, and a safety checklist for the day.

WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE DATE

• Plans first, chat second. Conversations start from something concrete, so they lead somewhere.
• Honest intentions. Say whether you are looking for something serious or just good company.
• Stand out when you like someone. Add a short note or a photo to your like and it arrives as your opening message.
• Know how recent the photos are. Every photo shows roughly how old it is.
• Like or comment on a single photo. It also sends your like, so the conversation starts from something real.
• Say what you look for in a person. Pick from the list or add your own.
• Kind profile tips. Let people suggest how to improve your profile. Only you see them.
• Pause your profile or go incognito whenever you want.
• Your matches, your order. Sort by who wrote last, who is nearest, or who is waiting on a reply.

DATES WORTH SAYING YES TO

Coffee and dinner are here, and so are dozens of better ideas: a sunset walk, a picnic, live music, a wine tasting, a cooking class, padel, a comedy show, an escape room, stargazing, a boat ride, a street-art walk and many more. Add your own if it is not on the list. Every plan can say when you are free (a weekday evening, this weekend, a Sunday morning), what you might wear, what you might bring, and a line about what would make it perfect.

SAFETY AND PRIVACY, BUILT IN

• Selfie verification. A verified badge shows who has confirmed they are the person in their photos.
• Public spot tag. Date plans can be marked as taking place somewhere public.
• Your exact location is never shared. Other people see an approximate distance only.
• You decide who can send you photos and videos. Voice notes always work; pictures need your permission.
• Report or block anyone, at any time, and report a date that went wrong.
• Share your date with a friend. Send the plan and the time to someone you trust.
• Adults only. Date is for people aged 18 and over.

MADE FOR MEETING, WHEREVER YOU ARE

• Available in 25 languages.
• Travelling? Set the city you are visiting and match with people there before you arrive.
• Filter by distance, age, the kind of date and who pays. Kilometres or miles, your choice.
• Once a date is agreed, add it to your calendar straight from the chat.

A dating app should end with two people at the same table. That is the only thing Date is built for.

Date is a free dating app. Download it, build your first plan, and see who says yes.
