Pathikula is a matrimonial service built for Sri Lankans — at home and abroad.

Finding a life partner is not the same as dating, and Pathikula is not a dating app. It is built around the way Sri Lankan families actually approach marriage: considered profiles, horoscope compatibility, and conversations that begin only when both people have shown genuine interest.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Create a detailed profile — education, occupation, family background, religion, ethnicity, diet, and what you are looking for in a partner.

• Search with filters that matter here — age, height, location in Sri Lanka or overseas, religion, ethnicity, marital status, education and occupation.

• Share your horoscope on your own terms. Add your birth details and keep your chart private, share it only with people you choose, or make it visible. Request another member's horoscope, and they decide whether to send it.

• Express interest, and see who has expressed interest in you.

• Message and call — only once interest is mutual. No unsolicited messages from strangers.

• See who viewed your profile.

• Work with a matchmaker if you would rather have someone guide the search.

BUILT FOR TRUST

• Every member verifies a phone number before their profile can appear in search. No anonymous profiles. Pathikula does not check government ID, so treat every profile with the same care you would offline.

• Use a real photo of yourself, or none at all. Every profile photo is checked by a person, and fake, AI-generated, group and inappropriate photos are removed.

• Block and report any member. Blocked members cannot see you or contact you.

• You control your photos — make them public, blur them, or restrict them to members you have matched with.

• Your date of birth is never shown publicly. Your phone number is never shown to other members.

FOR SRI LANKANS ANYWHERE

Many Sri Lankan families are spread across Australia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. Pathikula is built for that — filter by country and region, and use it in the same way whether you are in Colombo, Kandy, Melbourne or Dubai.
