Works with LG smart TVs running webOS (2014 and newer). Your phone and TV need to be on the same Wi-Fi.

Instant Remote turns your phone into an LG TV remote. Pair it once and it connects by itself every time you open it.

The remote is free, with no ads and no account.

THE REMOTE
• Swipe pad: swipe to move around the TV's menus and tap for OK, or tap the edges for the arrows
• Your phone's keyboard for searches and passwords, instead of the TV's on-screen one
• Volume with your phone's own buttons, and on your lock screen while something plays
• Turn the TV on and off, including over Bluetooth on supported TVs
• Your apps in a row along the top, so Netflix, YouTube or Prime Video is one tap away
• See what's on, with play, pause, rewind and fast forward
• Number, colour, channel and input buttons, and the TV's settings
• Voice: say what you want to watch
• Search across your apps
• Sleep timer, with a warning on the TV a minute before
• Send photos and videos from your phone to the TV
• A widget and a Quick Settings tile
• Prefer buttons? Switch to the Classic remote

INSTANT REMOTE PRO
Try any of it free for 7 days. After that, Pro is one payment that's yours to keep. No subscription.
• Show your phone on the TV, with its sound
• Hear the TV on your phone: plug in headphones and watch late without waking anyone
• Schedules: turn the TV on or off at set times, eg on with the news at 7 on weekdays
• Bedtime: the TV switches off at bedtime, and again if it's put back on before morning
• Volume limit: set a maximum, even for the TV's own remote
• Gentle sleep timer: the sound fades down before the TV switches off
• Saved scenes: a picture mode, app and volume in one tap
• More than one TV: control every LG TV in the house
• Lock screen controls, a now playing widget and home screen shortcuts to your TV apps
