SourceDerm is the only skincare search engine that tells you exactly who you're buying from before you buy.

Every online seller across a curated catalog of top premium skincare brands is classified across a six-tier Trust Matrix — from Brand Direct (T1) to Unverified/High Risk (T6). Search any product, brand, or ingredient and instantly see authorized retailers verified in green and unauthorized or counterfeit-risk sellers flagged in orange and red. New brands added regularly.

WHAT IS THE TRUST MATRIX?

T1 · Brand Direct — The brand's own website. Guaranteed authentic.
T2 · Authorized Big Box — Sephora, Dermstore, LovelySkin, Nordstrom. Confirmed on the brand's authorized retailer list.
T3 · Authorized Online Retailer — BeautifiedYou, Time to Spa, ExclusiveBeautyClub. Brand-sanctioned and verified.
T4 · Verified Marketplace — Amazon when sold directly by Amazon.com on brand-gated listings.
T5 · Grey Market — Unauthorized seller. Product authenticity unconfirmed.
T6 · Unverified / High Risk — Unauthorized seller priced 20%+ below MSRP. Significant counterfeit risk.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Counterfeit skincare is a documented and growing problem. Fake SkinCeuticals sold on Amazon has caused chemical burns. Grey market EltaMD, SkinMedica, and Drunk Elephant is routinely stored improperly or sold past expiration. Until now, there was no tool to tell consumers who they were actually buying from.

SourceDerm closes that gap. Every seller classification is researched by a human — not an algorithm — using 15 years of firsthand authorized retailer knowledge and direct brand relationships across the premium skincare industry.

VERIFIED COUPONS AND NET PRICES

SourceDerm surfaces active verified coupon codes from authorized retailers and calculates net prices automatically. See the real best price across every authorized seller side by side — not just whoever paid for Google placement.

Toggle Net Prices on to see prices with coupons applied. The Best Verified Price badge highlights the lowest net price from any T1–T3 authorized seller. If Amazon or another marketplace offers a lower overall price, that is shown separately as Best Price — so you always have the full picture.

BUILT BY AN INDUSTRY INSIDER

SourceDerm was built by the co-founder of one of the first authorized online skincare retailers in the US, launched in 2008 with direct brand relationships across the premium skincare industry and 15 years inside the authorized retail system. The Trust Matrix is built from firsthand knowledge — not scraped data, not algorithmic guesswork.

No seller can pay to improve their tier classification. No advertiser can pay to remove a counterfeit risk warning. Rankings are based solely on authorization status and price.
