WHAT IT DOES
— Plays SRT streams in a live grid, up to 16 tiles on capable tablets (4×4) and up to 9 (3×3) on flagship phones. One socket, one ExoPlayer per tile — no time-slicing, no silent decoder pauses.
— Imports stream presets from JSON files or m3u playlists.
— Exposes the full per-stream SRT control set — latency, oheadbw, maxbw, passphrase, caller/listener/rendezvous mode — under an Advanced drawer that stays out of your way until you need it.
— Auto-reconnects per tile with exponential backoff (1–8 seconds) when a feed drops, without disturbing the other tiles. A stall watchdog catches dead sockets after 8 seconds of buffering.
— Shows per-stream health as colored tile chrome (green / amber / red) keyed to RTT and packet loss. The 9-tile "which one is sick" question gets answered in under a second.
— Runs an honest capacity probe before lighting up a heavy grid. Tells you the device can drive six 1080p tiles before you commit to eight.
WHO IT'S FOR
Broadcast engineers running cellular contribution from the field. Livestream operators monitoring 4+ feeds during a multi-cam event. AV technicians staging IP video for venues and houses of worship. Sports and event camera ops who need glanceable confidence that every angle is alive. IPTV power users who already supply their own URLs and want a clean, ad-free player to render them.
WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
— One-time pricing. $19.99 for Pro, forever.
— Tablet-first, not stretched-phone. Real adaptive layouts via WindowSizeClass, large touch targets, Material 3 chrome, dark by default.
— Glanceable health, not buried stats. Tile color tells you the answer before you tap.
LITE (FREE) vs PRO ($19.99)
Lite: single-stream playback plus 1×2 multi-view at 1080p, basic stats overlay, JSON preset import, no ads, no account, no time limit.
Pro: 2×2, 3×3, and 4×4 grids; full per-stream SRT tuning UI; stats export to CSV/JSON; preset export with optional passphrase; Chromecast out; keyboard shortcuts; light/dark theme switch.
Pro unlocks once, on the Google account you bought it with. No subscription renewal. No "Pro Plus" upsell.
BUILT FOR THE FIELD
Haivision's 2026 Broadcast Transformation Report puts cellular contribution at 54% of broadcasters, up from 46% the year before. More SRT feeds originate from or terminate on phones and tablets every quarter. A real monitoring app on the device in your hand is no longer a nice-to-have — it's the workflow. SRT Multiview is built for that workflow: foreground service keeps sockets alive when you pull down a notification, low-latency hardware decode via MediaCodec, and a reconnect state machine that survives the bus tunnel and the elevator shaft.
WHAT WE'VE CONFIRMED
Up to 9 simultaneous SRT streams (2× 1080p + 7× 720p, H.264) on a 1 Gbps local network played cleanly on Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and Galaxy S24. Performance beyond 9 streams, on cellular, or with high-bitrate sources is on you — that's why this is a Pro tool, not a consumer app. Bring proper network and proper SRT sources.
WHAT WE DON'T CLAIM
Battery life and thermal behavior will vary by device, ambient temperature, display brightness, and how many tiles you're decoding. We don't limit your usage to "protect" your hardware — you're a pro, you know what you're asking of your SoC. The in-app capacity probe, per-tile health chrome, and device health readouts surface the data; the decisions are yours.
CROSS-PLATFORM PRESETS
The JSON preset schema (v1) is portable to the iPadOS and iOS sibling app and to the future NDI sibling. One preset file, three platforms, same engineer.
PRIVACY
No accounts. No analytics SDK collecting personal data. No ads. Stream URLs and passphrases stay on the device, in app-private storage. The only network connections the app initiates are the SRT sessions you configure.
Built by a working developer, not a sleepy vendor. Ship a craft release every quarter.
