Kind Soup is for people looking after someone. A parent with dementia, a child with autism, a partner after a stroke, a friend nobody else checks on.

It is a place to say the true thing. The win nobody else would understand, the resentment you cannot say out loud, the paperwork, and the 3am.

SAY WHAT KIND OF DAY IT IS

Label a post as venting, a good day, something practical, a question, or an update. The room reads the label before it answers, so nobody tries to fix a bad night you only wanted to say out loud.

Post to everyone, or to one circle. Post without your name on it and keep your care marks, so the room still knows who you are speaking for. A content note folds a hard post until someone chooses to open it.

Post about the dog, too. Whether you see other people's pets is a switch you control.

ANSWERS, AND A WAY TO STOP THEM

Replies thread, so you can answer one person instead of talking into a list. One heart is the only reaction there is, and it tells the author who sent it and nobody else. No scores, no streaks and no leaderboards, anywhere.

The post stays yours. Hide a reply you do not want under it, or turn replies off entirely.

NEVER EXPLAIN THE JOB TWICE

Pick your care marks from nineteen: dementia, autism, Down syndrome, cancer, stroke recovery, Parkinson's, mental illness, chronic illness, rare disease, aging parent, end of life, bereaved, brain injury, addiction, and more. They sit beside your name, so you never have to open with your backstory.

ROOMS RUN BY CAREGIVERS

Circles for a condition, a city, or a feeling, each one moderated by a caregiver who does this work too. Every circle sets its own door: open to all genders, women and non-binary, men only, or trans and non-binary. Joining is optional. Plenty of people never join one and post to everyone instead.

SAY HELLO WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING

A knock is one tap. No message to write, and nobody has to answer. If they knock back, a thread opens.

HOW WE KEEP IT SAFE

Ugly feelings never get you reported for having them. Moderators act on how people treat each other, not on what you feel. Nothing here is public: no profile anyone can find, nothing a search engine can reach, nothing readable without an account.

Pause your account whenever you need to and come back to it exactly as it was. Download everything you have written, any time. Free, with no advertising.
