Certa is an alarm clock for people who can dismiss normal alarms while half asleep.

Instead of a simple swipe, Certa asks you to complete a wake-up mission before the alarm stops. Choose the mission that fits your morning: solve math, scan a QR code, scan a barcode, take a matching photo, shake your phone, walk steps, or expose your phone to light.

Built for harder mornings

• Mission alarms reduce half-asleep dismissal
• Stack multiple missions for stricter wake-ups
• Place a QR code across the room to make yourself get up
• Use Photo Mission for real-world wake locations, processed on your device
• Track wake streaks, snooze habits, mission time, and sleep patterns
• Use shift schedules for rotating workdays, nights, weekends, or custom routines

Wake Confidence before bedtime

Certa shows a Wake Confidence score for your next alarm. It checks practical risks such as alarm permissions, battery settings, volume, Do Not Disturb, charging status, backup alarm setup, device behavior, and recent wake history.

If risks are found, Certa shows what needs attention so you can review the setup before sleep.

Privacy and permissions

Alarm apps need a few important permissions to work reliably. Certa explains them during onboarding.

Exact alarm access helps alarms ring on time.
Notification and full-screen alarm access help the alarm appear when it matters.
Battery optimization exemption helps prevent the phone from stopping Certa in the background.
Camera access is used only for QR, barcode, and photo missions.

Your alarm and sleep history stay on your device. Camera missions are processed on your phone. Photos are not uploaded.
