Biketune turns a supported ELM327 / OBD-II adapter into a full motorcycle diagnostic and coding tool. Connect over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to read fault codes, watch live engine data, reset the service reminder, and code your bike the way a dealer would, without booking a workshop slot.

WHO IT'S FOR
Riders who do their own maintenance. Change your oil, then reset the service reminder yourself, no dealer appointment and no fee just to clear the wrench. DIY mechanics who would rather diagnose a fault than guess at it. And anyone who wants to change a setting the dealer charges for.

SCAN FOR FREE
• Read trouble codes across every reachable control unit: engine, ABS, cluster, chassis, body.
• Live engine data: RPM, road speed, coolant and oil temperature, lean angle, twist-grip, gear and battery, in metric or imperial.
• All Sensors and Freeze Frame: every parameter, plus what the engine was doing when a code was set.
• Programming info: VIN, control unit name, calibration ID, BMW chassis code and part numbers.
• Tyre-pressure monitoring: live TPMS status per wheel.
• Shareable fault reports: turn any scan into a clean summary to send to a mechanic.
• Demo mode: try every screen without an adapter, anywhere.

UNLOCK THE WORKSHOP WITH PRO
A single one-time purchase, no subscription, adds every write path and power tool:
• Service reset: write next-service distance, date and bike clock back to the cluster.
• Clear trouble codes after a repair.
• Coding: change cluster and accessory settings in plain language, from daytime running lights to heated grips to tyre-pressure thresholds in bar or psi. Options vary by bike and fitted equipment.
• Adaptations: read stored adaptation values from the cluster and engine.
• Actuator tests: command outputs and actuators directly, safety-gated.
• Control units: drill into each unit for its own codes, live data, coding and tests.
• ABS data, accessory outputs, live charting, Data Explorer and Raw Console.

COMPATIBILITY
• Generic OBD-II: any motorcycle or car that speaks SAE J1979 over CAN (most post-2008 vehicles).
• BMW motorcycles: the deepest support. Modern CAN bikes get reads, live data, coding, adaptations and service procedures: S 1000 RR / R / XR, M 1000 R / RR, R 1200 / 1250 / 1300 GS and RT, R nineT and R 12 families, R 18, F 750 / 800 / 850 / 900, K 1600. Coverage extends to the G-series singles, the C-series and CE scooters, the four-cylinder K bikes, the air and oilhead classics, and BMW-era Husqvarna. Pre-CAN K-line bikes get a dedicated legacy profile.

ADAPTER SUPPORT
For the full BMW feature set, use a genuine STN-chip adapter: UniCarScan (UCSI-2100), OBDLink CX / MX+, or the verified Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ all pass the checks that coding and service writes need. vGate iCar and most clones handle generic OBD-II reads, but cheaper ones skip extended addressing, so BMW writes will not work on them. On pairing, Biketune shows the adapter's expected tier and can test every feature against your exact bike first. An adapter is required and sold separately.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT WORKS
Depth depends on your bike and adapter: generic OBD-II reads work on most post-2008 vehicles, while BMW-specific writes need a BMW bike and proper UDS support. Try Demo mode and the in-app compatibility check before unlocking Pro.

PRIVACY
Your garage, sessions and diagnostic data stay on your phone; your VIN, fault codes and live readings are never sent to us unless you send a support report. Optional Google sign-in backs up your bike list and adapter pairings to the private app folder of your own Google Drive, not our servers. We use crash reporting and privacy-friendly analytics to improve the app, with no ads and no ad tracking.
