You are the only enemy in this game.

Collect the orbs and the round is yours. But every step you took was recorded, and the second the round ends that recording comes back as a glowing ghost and hunts you. Clear another round and there are two of them. By round ten the arena is packed with every route you have ever taken, and all of them are trying to catch you.

Nobody designed that difficulty. You did.

A note from the developer

I put my heart into this game to encourage anyone struggling to let go of their past and move forward. No matter how difficult your past has been, I wanted to remind you that everything is going to be okay. So please, never give up.

The game is filled with encouraging words. You will find one every time you are caught.

There is a twist. You cannot reach the end, because there is no end to reach. The goal was never to escape your past. It is to accept it and let it go.

How it plays

In the first round you are alone. From the second round onward your past selves come back, and moving forward means getting past them again and again.

Rush the middle and you build fast ghosts that carve the centre apart. Hug the walls and you slowly seal yourself in. No two players ever face the same game, because no two players move the same way. Your skill and your bad habits are both on the screen, chasing you.

When one of them finally catches you, the game names the round that did it. It was always you.

A run takes about a minute. Restarting takes one tap.

What is in it

• A mechanic you have not played before. Every enemy is a recording of one of your own rounds
• 50 encouraging lines, one on every defeat screen
• One minute runs and instant restarts
• 30 ships to collect, every one of them purely cosmetic
• One ship nobody is given. It stays hidden until you reach it
• 19 achievements, in the game and on Google Play Games
• Two leaderboards. Your best round, and the hours you have put in
• Clean round streaks, for players who would rather be perfect than go deep
• Diamonds to collect and a shop to spend them in
• Daily missions and a streak to keep alive
• Eight arena themes that shift as you go deeper, cold blue through to deep magenta
• An original soundtrack that grows as your ghosts multiply
• Drag anywhere to steer. No buttons, no stick, nothing covering the screen
• Plays completely offline

Fair by design

Every ship flies identically. Nothing you buy makes you faster, smaller or harder to catch, and that is enforced in the code and checked by automated tests. No forced ads. No energy timers. No countdown nagging you to come back.

You are not starting from nothing. You begin again with what you learned.
