Cooling Tower Performance is a technical tool for analyzing and evaluating wet cooling towers operating in counterflow configuration.

Enter water and air operating conditions, psychrometric variables, flow rates, and numerical parameters to study coupled heat and mass transfer inside the cooling tower.

MAIN FEATURES
• Coupled heat and mass transfer performance evaluation.
• Lewis factor treatment according to the selected calculation configuration.
• Complementary Merkel, ε-NTU, and Poppe analysis methods.
• Individual calculations with manually entered data.
• Solver controls, numerical settings, and convergence information.
• Detailed engineering results.
• Default, method-specific, and custom interactive charts.
• Capture values directly from charts, move, zoom, and compare curves.
• Automatic unit conversion for inputs, results, and chart axes.
• SI / Metric and Imperial / US Customary unit systems.
• Excel import, grouped batch processing, and Excel result export.
• Per-group results and charts for batch calculations.

RESULTS AND ANALYSIS
Depending on the selected method and configuration, the app can examine water and air temperature, humidity and saturation conditions, moist-air enthalpy, heat and mass transfer, Merkel number, Lewis factor, transfer coefficients, and other process quantities.

Charts visualize calculated profiles, support comparison between variables and methods, allow direct value capture, and provide custom chart configurations.

BATCH PROCESSING
Cooling Tower Performance can import grouped operating cases from compatible Excel files, run calculations automatically, and display results and charts for each group. Results can be saved to Excel for documentation, review, or further processing.

MULTILINGUAL INTERFACE
The interface supports 14 languages: English, Español, Português, Français, Italiano, Deutsch, 日本語, 中文, 한국어, Русский, Latina, Afrikaans, العربية, and עברית. Left-to-right and right-to-left layouts are supported according to the selected language.

INTENDED USE
Cooling Tower Performance is intended for university students, educators, researchers, engineers, and professionals working with heat and mass transfer, psychrometrics, evaporative cooling, and cooling tower performance.

TECHNICAL NOTICE AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR USE
Cooling Tower Performance is an engineering calculation and analysis support tool. Results depend on input data, mathematical models, selected configurations, numerical settings, and their assumptions.

The app does not replace assessment by a qualified professional. Results used for engineering design, operation, equipment selection, safety, or other critical technical decisions should be interpreted and verified by technically qualified personnel, using appropriate experimental data, manufacturer specifications, and applicable technical standards when relevant.
