One tap a day to say you're OK.

aloka is a daily check-in app that helps people living alone stay connected to family and trusted contacts.

Choose a check-in time and tap "I'm OK" when aloka reminds you. If you do not respond, aloka sends additional reminders. When the check-in remains unanswered, the people in your circle are alerted so they know it may be time to contact you.

How aloka works

• Set a daily check-in time
• Confirm you are OK with one tap
• Add family members, caregivers, or trusted friends to My Circle
• Create a Family Circle for a parent, grandparent, or another loved one
• Receive missed check-in alerts when someone does not respond
• See check-in status without relying on constant calls or messages

For people living alone - and the people who care

aloka can help:

• People living alone
• Seniors and older adults who want to stay independent
• Adult children caring for a parent or grandparent
• Families living in different cities or countries
• Caregivers, neighbors, and trusted friends
• Anyone who wants a simple daily safety routine

Care without constant monitoring

aloka is designed for families who want reassurance without surveillance. It does not use cameras or constant location tracking. When a check-in is completed, no unnecessary alert is sent. When it is missed, trusted people receive a clear signal to reach out.

My Circle and Family Circle

My Circle connects you with the trusted people who should be alerted if you miss a check-in. Family Circle lets an organizer support someone they care about. After that person accepts the invitation, the organizer can help manage the check-in time while circle members stay informed.

Simple by design

There is no wearable or complicated device to learn. Daily reminders, a one-tap response, and clear check-in status make aloka easy to use across different ages.

Privacy and safety

aloka supports independence and family connection. It is not a medical device or emergency response service and does not replace local emergency services when immediate help is needed.

One daily tap can turn silence into a signal - helping people living alone feel supported and helping families know when to check on them.
