Looking for a simple way to track your spending without giving an app access to your bank accounts, your salary, or your private data?

SimplyBudget is a privacy-first weekly budget tracker and offline expense manager designed for total data ownership. No bank syncing. No salary disclosure. No invasive tracking. Just a clean, intentional tool to help you stay on top of your money.

HOW IT WORKS
SimplyBudget is built around a straightforward, stress-free concept: set a weekly spending goal (e.g., "$100 a week") and log your expenses. The app does the rest. It instantly calculates how you are doing for the current week and tracks your cumulative "all-time" savings. If your budget is $100/week and you’ve only spent $250 over 3 weeks, SimplyBudget shows you exactly how you saved that extra $50.

POWERFUL INSIGHTS (WITHOUT THE CLUTTER)
• 8-Week Spending Trend: Visualize your progress with a clean bar chart mapping your expenses over the last two months.
• Lifetime Category Breakdown: See exactly where your money goes overall with a lifetime visual breakdown of your highest-spending categories.
• Current Month Breakdown: Keep an eye on the present with a dedicated visual chart showing your spending habits for the current month.

SMART FEATURES FOR EFFORTLESS TRACKING
• Recurring Expenses & Bills: Stop entering the same data twice. Schedule your monthly internet bill or weekly subscriptions to log automatically.
• Custom Categories & Currencies: Tailor the app to your life. Create personalized expense categories and set your preferred global currency.
• Fast & Easy Entry: Log a daily transaction in seconds with an amount, category, and an optional description.
• Searchable History: Look back at past purchases instantly with a built-in search tool.

LOCAL-FIRST DATA CONTROL
• Absolute Privacy: Your personal data never leaves your device. Everything is stored locally in an offline database.
• Full Data Portability: You own your data. Export your full transaction history to CSV or JSON formats at any time for your own records.
• Offline Backup & Restore: Peace of mind made simple. Move your data to a new device or keep a backup by importing/exporting local JSON files.

OPTIONAL ENHANCEMENTS
• Helpful Reminders: Opt into a daily local notification to remind you to log your spending, or a weekly notification to back up your data.
• Safe Crash Reporting: Help us improve app stability. If you opt in, only generic system error strings are shared—never your personal spending, budgets, or categories.
