You fronted the ice bill again. Someone is "definitely in" but hasn't tapped
anything. Your goalie just bailed and the game is in four hours.

BarDown is the hockey team app for whoever is holding all of that.

GET PAID BACK, NOT GHOSTED

You covered the ice. Or the jerseys, or the sharpening rings nobody else
thought about. Put in what each person owes and BarDown does the chasing.

Players see exactly who they're paying and tap straight through to Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal with the amount already filled in — or pay by card, Google Pay, or Bitcoin over Lightning right in the app. Those confirm themselves, so you're not reconciling anything at midnight.

The money goes to YOU. Not to "the team", not to a pooled account nobody
controls. Whoever fronted the cost is who gets reimbursed. And if your
assistant manager buys the pucks this week, you can let them collect for
themselves — without handing over anything else.

STOP CHASING RSVPS

One screen that answers who's in, who's out and who still hasn't answered.
Reminders go out on their own, at a sensible hour, and stop once someone
replies. Set a minimum and BarDown warns you before you're short a skater.

FIND A SUB BEFORE YOU PANIC

Keep a real sub list instead of scrolling three years of group texts. See who
plays your position, invite the ones who actually show up, and track who has
filled in before. Goalie included — especially the goalie.

LINES THAT MATCH WHO ACTUALLY CAME

Set forwards and D pairings, then adjust for the six people who dropped out.
Publish them so nobody is asking who they're out with during warmups.

EVERYTHING ELSE A BEER LEAGUE TEAM ACTUALLY USES

- Team chat and direct messages, so the schedule stops living in a group text
- Announcements that don't scroll away
- Full schedule with rink addresses that open straight in your maps app
- Season stats, leaderboards and goalie numbers
- Post-game awards and voting
- Whiteboard for drawing up plays, shareable straight into chat
- Film Room for clips and video
- Carpools, so the person without a car isn't texting around at 9pm
- Game-day duties — pucks, jerseys, and yes, beer
- Calendar sync to your phone's calendar
- Multiple teams in one app, one unified schedule

BUILT BY SOMEONE WHO RUNS A TEAM

BarDown is made by a beer league manager who got tired of apps that feel like
they were built in 2012. Late games, flaky attendance, chasing forty dollars
for six weeks — the app is shaped around those problems because they're the
ones we actually have.

Free to start. Bring your team, invite them with a link, and get your money
back.
