Armada Fighters is a single-player 3D arcade shoot ’em up combining fast-paced action, permanent progression, equipment management, and score-based competition.

Pilot your ship from an angled top-down view and fight through enemy waves until you reach the boss at the end of each level. Unlike forced-scrolling shoot ’em ups, you control your own pace: advance, slow down, or retreat to better manage enemies, projectiles, and environmental hazards.

The current version includes one world with 10 levels, 36 standard enemy types, 10 bosses, an unlockable Boss Rush map, four difficulty levels (Rookie, Pilot, Legend, and Demon), two game modes (Classic and Ranked), and an original electronic retro-inspired soundtrack.

Enemies use varied movement patterns, including vertical, horizontal, parabolic, and checkpoint-based routes. You must also avoid hazards such as indestructible asteroids, volcanoes, and other obstacles that can damage or destroy your ship.

In the garage, equip permanent upgrades such as missiles, shields, vitality, engines, and multi-cannons. Missile firing patterns include Normal, Burst, Spread 3, Spread 5, and Circle. Equipment can be upgraded through several tiers using gold earned by playing. Optional in-game purchases can also provide gold packs to speed up progression.

During levels, enemies and bosses can drop gold, shield bonuses, healing upgrades, temporary fire-rate boosts, temporary multi-cannons, and temporary missiles. Some bonuses activate immediately, while temporary missiles can be stored and used later.

Classic Mode uses your permanent garage equipment. Choose your difficulty, replay unlocked levels, earn gold, improve your score, and upgrade your ship. You can retry without limit. Gold and score from a level are only validated after defeating the boss.

Ranked Mode puts every player under the same starting conditions. Permanent garage equipment is disabled, every run starts at level 1.1, and you have five attempts to progress. Temporary bonuses remain available, but purchased or upgraded permanent equipment gives no advantage.

Your score depends on enemies destroyed, kill percentage, completion time, bonuses collected, and selected difficulty. Monthly leaderboards are available in-game and reset every month, while a permanent overall leaderboard is available through Cosludia.

Complete daily and weekly missions to earn additional gold. Objectives can include playing Ranked mode, equipping an item, or logging in for several consecutive days. The first level includes a tutorial covering movement, shooting, and bonuses.

Guest Mode lets you play without a Cosludia account or internet connection. Classic mode and local progression remain available offline. Ranked mode, missions, and leaderboards require a connected Cosludia account.
