DONLU is the home of African music and film. Stream tracks, albums, and DJ mixes from artists across Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and beyond.

Every stream counts. The DONLU Artist Monetisation Programme pays artists per qualifying play, with a 90/10 split in favour of the creator. No middlemen, no complicated contracts. Artists upload, listeners play, and the money flows.

What you get with DONLU:

Music
Browse by genre, mood, or artist. Play tracks, full albums, and curated playlists. Follow your favourite artists and get notified when they drop something new. Background playback and lock screen controls keep the music going while you work.

DJ Mixes
Full-length mixes from DJs across the continent, with every tagged artist earning from your listen.

Cinema
Watch short films, music videos, and independent features from African filmmakers. Cinema Pass subscribers get unlimited access to the full catalogue.

Listener Pro
Ad-free streaming, higher audio quality, and your subscription revenue goes directly to the artists you actually listen to, weighted by your own listening behaviour.

Charts
See what is moving across DONLU, updated from real play data rather than editorial picks.

Built in Africa, for Africa
DONLU is headquartered in Windhoek, Namibia, and built for the way people listen here. Low data usage, controls that work on any connection, and a catalogue that reflects the continent rather than importing one.

For artists and DJs
Upload your music directly from your phone. Set your own metadata, choose your genres, and start earning from day one. Artist Pro and DJ Pro tiers unlock higher per-stream rates and priority placement.

For labels
Manage your roster, track earnings across all your artists, and handle releases from one dashboard.
