Heda — Headache & Migraine Diary

Heda is a privacy-focused Android app for keeping a personal diary of your headaches and migraines. All your data stays on your device — no cloud syncing, no tracking. Log episodes on an interactive 3D pain map, review your own history, and bring a clear record with you to your next appointment.

⚠️ MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
Heda is a personal wellness and self-tracking diary. It is NOT a medical device. Heda does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition, and it does not provide medical advice. Everything shown in the app is a summary of information you entered yourself, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your health. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

📱 HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Heda's core features run on your Android phone alone — no external hardware or accessory is needed to install and use the app.

The optional health-data features are the exception. Heda does not measure sleep, heart rate variability or steps itself; it contains no sensor logic and takes no measurements. It only reads values that another source has already written to Health Connect. To use these optional features you need a compatible external device — a smartwatch, fitness band or other wearable that supports Health Connect — or another app that writes this data. Without such a device or app, these optional views simply stay empty; every other feature in Heda continues to work normally.

KEY FEATURES

📍 Interactive 3D Pain Map
Mark pain areas by dragging or tapping on a 3D head model. Colour-coded by the intensity you record (blue → orange → red).

📅 Calendar View
Browse your own entries in calendar format with colour coding. Tap an entry to edit it.

📊 Statistics
See counts, average recorded intensity and distribution of your own entries across week, month, year or all time. These are summaries of the data you entered, not a medical assessment.

📋 Flexible Logging
Record start and end times, label the entry yourself (for example migraine or tension headache), note possible triggers such as stress, sleep or food, and add free-text notes.

📤 CSV Export
Export your data as CSV to cloud storage — compatible with Excel and other tools.

🔒 Encryption & Security
The database is AES-256-GCM encrypted. Biometric lock (fingerprint/face) protects access. Everything stays local.

🌙 Optional Health Connect View — Premium, external device required
If you own a compatible wearable (a smartwatch or fitness band that supports Health Connect) or another app that writes to Health Connect, Heda Premium can display your sleep, heart rate variability and step count alongside your entries. Heda does not measure any of these itself, and this feature does nothing without such an external device or app. Anything shown is a statistical pattern in your own logs, not a medical finding.

🌍 12 Languages
English, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Portuguese. The app follows your system language automatically.

🎨 Dark & Light Themes
Auto theme follows your system settings.
