Farm CFO is a cost-of-production tracker built for crop farmers who want to know, mid-season, whether each field is making money.

Most farm finances live in a shoebox of receipts and a year-end spreadsheet. By the time the numbers come back from the accountant, the season is over and the decisions that mattered have already been made on gut feel. Farm CFO puts the numbers in your pocket so you can log a receipt from the tractor cab and see your real cost per acre the same day.

TRACK EVERY DOLLAR BY FIELD • Add your fields with acres, cash rent, and expected yield • Log expenses by category: fertilizer, chemical, fuel and oil, repairs, irrigation, electricity, and more • Record inputs with product, rate, and cost per application • Track field passes with diesel used, hours, and equipment wear • Quick-add expense sheet designed for one-handed use in the field

FUEL AND OIL • Track tank fills and fuel usage with a running average cost per gallon • Using fuel on a field automatically creates the expense and updates the tank balance • Spread oil purchases across fields by acreage

GRAIN MARKETING • Keep a list of buyers and record sales by commodity and bushels • Bushel inventory updates with every sale • See sales history by buyer

EQUIPMENT • Keep a registry of your machines with filter part numbers on hand • Log repairs against each piece of equipment

REPORTS THAT ANSWER REAL QUESTIONS • Field summary: total cost, cost per acre, cost per bushel, broken down by cost type • Farm summary: rolled-up view across every field • Budget vs. actual: set a season budget per field and see where you're ahead or behind • Sales summary: revenue by buyer and commodity • Equipment summary: repair history per machine • Tax summary: expenses organized in Schedule F style categories for your accountant • Print or share any report as a PDF

FARM CALCULATORS • Grain bin: total bushels from bin dimensions • Fertilizer: cost per acre and pounds of N, P, K, and S • Hauling basis: cents per bushel to haul • Amortization: loan payments and payoff schedule

BUILT FOR RURAL SIGNAL • Works offline. Entries save on your phone and sync when you're back in range • Export all your data to JSON or CSV any time, and import it back • Your records belong to you. No ads, no data selling, no location tracking

Farm CFO is a record-keeping and calculation tool. It does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice. Always confirm figures with your accountant or advisor.
