Check On Me Now is a personal safety app that watches over you 24/7 and automatically alerts the people you trust when something seems wrong.

Whether you live alone, care for an aging parent, or simply want extra peace of mind, Check On Me Now turns your phone into a personal safety companion — no extra hardware needed.

HOW IT WORKS

• Fall Detection — If a hard fall is detected, the app first checks in with you ("Are you okay?"). If you don't respond after three prompts, your emergency contacts automatically receive an SMS with a link to your live location.

• Idle Detection — You choose how long is "too long" without movement, from minutes to hours. If your phone stays still past that limit, the app checks in on you the same way before alerting anyone.

• Manual SOS — Need help right now? Tap "Send Emergency Alert Now" to notify your contacts instantly.

KEY FEATURES

• 24/7 background monitoring — protection keeps running even when the app is closed
• Up to 3 emergency contacts, imported straight from your phone
• Automatic SMS alerts with a Google Maps link to your location
• Three "Are you okay?" check-ins before any alert is sent — cancel false alarms with one tap
• Customizable alert message and inactivity time limit
• Quiet hours support, so a full night's sleep doesn't trigger alerts
• Separate on/off toggles for Fall Detection and Idle Detection
• Simple, senior-friendly design with large buttons and clear status

WHO IT'S FOR

• Seniors who live independently
• Families who want peace of mind about aging parents
• People with medical conditions
• Anyone who lives or works alone

YOUR PRIVACY MATTERS

Your location is shared only with the emergency contacts you choose, and only when an alert is triggered. You control who gets notified and exactly what the message says.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• For reliable protection, the app needs location and notification permissions and must be excluded from battery optimization. The app will guide you through this during setup.
• No detection system is perfect. Check On Me Now is a safety aid and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical monitoring or emergency services.

Stay independent. Stay connected. Let the people who love you know you're okay — automatically.
