A story that teaches. You pick the lesson, or your journal does.

Gnothi writes a continuing story one chapter at a time, with the lesson built into the plot. Say you want to understand investing. You might get a space-freighter crew whose quartermaster won't bet the whole profit on one cargo. Nobody in the story tells you what to do. Or write about a decision you keep putting off, and the next chapter can take it up. If you'd rather have it straight, Gnothi can make a direct audio course instead.

SERIES
• Write a premise and the topics the story should carry, or start from an example and edit it.
• Fiction styles include fantasy, sci-fi, literary, parable and cyberpunk. Nonfiction includes memoir.
• Each chapter runs about half an hour and is narrated automatically. The reader turns pages along with the audio, and playback keeps going on the lock screen.
• The Logbook keeps a running record, so chapter 40 can remember chapter 3. Add a Series Direction to steer the next chapter.
• Export completed chapters as an EPUB, or publish a series as a podcast feed if you choose to.

JOURNAL
• Write or dictate entries, or upload a recording (M4A, MP3 or WAV, up to 30 minutes) to transcribe.
• Gnothi adds a title and summary to each entry.
• Chat with your entries when you want to think something through.
• A series can read your whole journal, only the tags you choose, or none of it.

FIELDS
• Track habits, dailies, to-dos and rewards with points and streaks, or log plain numbers, ratings and outlines.
• With enough history, Gnothi looks for fields that affect each other from one day to the next.

SHARING AND GROUPS
• Share entries under chosen tags with specific people.
• Join groups and chat under a pseudonym. Group messages are checked automatically for harassment, abuse and spam.
• Report a message and it disappears for you while the group's owner and admins review it. Block someone to hide their messages and comments everywhere.

WEAR OS
• Gnothi count tile: today's total for a field you pick on your phone, with buttons to add one, take one away or check it off.
• Gnothi +1 and Gnothi -1 complications: today's total on your watch face. Tap to count without opening the app.
• Gnothi Dictate tile and complication: tap the mic and speak a journal entry.

CREDITS
New accounts start with free AI credits. AI features run on credits, and you top up with in-app purchases. Reading and listening to your chapters never uses credits. Your first top-up also permanently unlocks voice choice, cloning or designing your own voice, the stronger chapter model and starting a group, and turns off ads.

PRIVACY
• Cloud AI touches your entries, fields and voice only after you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
• Most AI runs on Amazon Bedrock, which doesn't keep or train on your content. Features that use Google Gemini (cover art, web research, Gemini voices) ask first.
• No ad tracking and no third-party analytics in the app.
• Export your data, or delete your account yourself from Settings.
• Optional PIN lock and two-factor sign-in.
