Four heroes walk a road that gets worse. You are not their hands — you are the one who decides who walks it and how.

Temple of Terror is an idle party RPG that sits docked in the corner of your
screen. Combat runs itself, round after round, whether you are watching or not.

What you control is everything around the fighting: who is in the company, what they carry, how far forward they stand, and when to burn it all down and start again stronger.

TEN ZONES AND THE THING AT THE END
Six hundred waves from the Farmlands to the Temple. Each zone has its own
creatures, its own scenery and its own boss. Past the ninth the company reaches the throne room, and the Terror Archon is waiting in it — and the first time you meet it, you lose. That is not a difficulty spike, it is the story. Falling is what raises the ceiling and lets the demon bindings be worn at all.

THEY FIGHT WITHOUT YOU
Every hero picks their own action every round, weighing every option in expected hit points. Fighters cover whoever is worst hurt. Clerics mend before it is too late. Wizards read the enemy formation before choosing between a bolt and a storm. You never press attack.

A DIAL, NOT A BUTTON
Each hero has a stance — Defensive, Normal, Aggressive — and each one is a real trade. A Defensive Fighter keeps the company alive and earns almost none of his own crafting material doing it.

A FORGE THAT COSTS SOMETHING
Twenty armour sets across four families and five rungs, each with its own attack animation. Materials come in two strands: common stock that drops from anything and folds upward, and class strands that only that class's own killing blows bring back. What you recruit decides what you can build.

RETIRE, AND COME BACK HARDER
You are meant to hit a wall. Retiring the company spends every level and every crafted piece for permanent Legend, and the next run is faster for it. Clear a zone and the road offers you three boons to keep forever — twenty-one of them, ten with rules rather than numbers: a company that will not stay down, a fifth of every wound shared out, every fifth spell cast twice, a forge that exceeds itself.

IT KEEPS GOING WHEN YOU CLOSE IT
Come back after a night away and the company will have walked. Up to fourteen days of it.
