**FieldSDR turns your Android device into a portable RTL-SDR spectrum analyzer, radio receiver, RF survey tool, and ADS-B aircraft tracker.**

Connect a compatible RTL-SDR receiver using USB OTG, or connect to a configurable **rtl_tcp** source over your network. Tune signals, monitor the RF spectrum in real time, create signal-strength surveys, record radio data, and track ADS-B aircraft from one mobile SDR app.

### Live RTL-SDR Receiver & Spectrum Analyzer

Explore the supported frequency range with a responsive **live spectrum display and waterfall**. Fine-tune your receiver with controls for frequency, bandwidth, gain, squelch, AGC, sample rate, PPM correction, and audio volume.

Supported demodulation modes include:

• AM
• Narrow FM (NFM)
• Wide FM (WFM)
• USB
• LSB
• CW

Save frequently used frequencies as tuning presets for faster access.

### Record Audio, IQ Data & Spectrum Measurements

Capture signals for later analysis directly on your device.

FieldSDR supports:

• WAV audio recording
• Raw IQ recording with SigMF metadata
• Spectrum measurement recording
• Receiver diagnostics
• Guided tuner-gain sweeps
• Configurable spectrum performance settings

Recordings remain stored locally on your Android device.

### GPS RF Surveying & Signal Heatmaps

Turn your RTL-SDR into a portable **RF surveying and signal-mapping system**.

FieldSDR can combine GPS location data with RF measurements while you move through an area. View survey results on an interactive map and visualize signal coverage using heatmaps.

Analyze measurements including:

• Average signal power
• Peak signal power
• Noise floor
• Estimated signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)

Persistent survey operation helps with longer RF measurement sessions.

Completed surveys can be saved and exported as **CSV or GeoJSON** for additional analysis or mapping.

### ADS-B Aircraft Tracking

Use the dedicated **ADS-B receiver** to monitor aircraft transmissions on **1090 MHz** with a connected RTL-SDR.

FieldSDR can decode ADS-B aircraft messages directly or connect to a compatible **dump1090 network feed**.

View detected aircraft on an interactive map with:

• Aircraft positions
• Altitude-based colors
• Flight tracks
• Range rings
• Aircraft details
• Adjustable dwell settings

Use your SDR setup as a portable ADS-B aircraft tracking station.

### Additional Features

• RTL-SDR support through USB OTG
• rtl_tcp network receiver support
• Real-time spectrum and waterfall displays
• AM, NFM, WFM, USB, LSB, and CW reception
• Audio and raw IQ recording
• SigMF metadata support
• GPS-assisted RF surveys
• RF signal heatmaps
• CSV and GeoJSON export
• ADS-B aircraft decoding and mapping

FieldSDR is designed for **software-defined radio enthusiasts, RF experimentation, spectrum monitoring, signal analysis, RF surveying, and ADS-B aircraft tracking** from an Android device.

**Requirements:** Live radio reception requires a compatible RTL-SDR receiver connected through USB OTG or access to a supported network SDR source. Available frequencies and performance depend on the connected receiver and Android device.
