Shadow Controller puts your ARK: Survival Ascended server cluster in your pocket.

Start, stop, restart and update servers, watch who is online, run RCON commands and get notified when something goes down — without opening a laptop.

IMPORTANT: THIS APP REQUIRES A SERVER
Shadow Controller is a companion app for Shadow Server Manager, self-hosted software that runs on the machine hosting your game servers. The app does nothing on its own. If you do not run Shadow Server Manager, this app is not useful to you.

Not sure? Tap Demo Mode on the pairing screen to explore the whole app with sample data. No account, no connection, nothing stored.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Server control
Start, stop, restart and update individual servers. Slide-to-confirm on destructive actions, so nothing happens by accident in your pocket. Live progress while an update runs.

Cluster control
Act on a whole cluster at once. See at a glance which servers are up, which are starting and which need attention.

Players and status
Player counts and online status across every server you have access to, refreshed when you open the app rather than draining your battery in the background.

RCON
Send commands to any server you are permitted to control. Save frequently used commands as one-tap shortcuts, configured by your server owner in the web console.

Alerts that matter
Get a push notification when a server has been offline longer than you allow. Scheduled restarts, updates and wipes are recognised as planned work and stay quiet, so the only alerts you receive are ones worth reading.

Quiet hours
Set a window where notifications stay silent. Per device, so your phone and your tablet can differ.

Admin chat
A private message feed shared with the other admins on your cluster, separate from Discord and with its own notification channel. Messages are removed after 30 days.

BUILT FOR SERVER OWNERS

Every device is paired individually by scanning a QR code from the web console, and every device can be revoked instantly.

Permissions are granular. A device can be limited to specific clusters, and separately granted or denied the ability to run commands, control servers, receive alerts or use admin chat. A device can never do more than the account behind it — device settings only ever narrow access, never widen it.

Commands run from the app are recorded in the server's audit log with the device that issued them.

PRIVACY

Shadow Controller talks only to the server you pair it with. That server is run by you or your server owner — not by us. We do not host it, cannot access it, and receive no copy of your data.

The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no trackers and no third-party SDKs.

Camera access is used for one thing: reading the QR code that pairs your device. Images are never stored or transmitted.
