Some days, the to-do list stops being a list and starts being a wall.

Burnout Buddy is for those days. Instead of asking you to be more disciplined, it asks a gentler question: what is the smallest possible next step? Then it helps you take it.

WHAT IT DOES

Tiny Tasks
Tell Burnout Buddy roughly how much energy you have today, and it suggests small, doable tasks that match. Low energy days get genuinely low energy suggestions. No guilt, no pep talk you didn't ask for.

Break it down
Any task can be split into three smaller steps. "Clean the kitchen" becomes something you can actually start. If a suggestion doesn't fit today, hide it and move on.

Focus timers
Pick a task, pick a length, and start. The timer keeps running even if you close the app, and when it's done you'll get a notification with two buttons: mark it complete, or add five more minutes. Because sometimes we need the task to be a timed game.

Kind reminders
Optional wellness check-ins through the day: stretch, breathe, drink some water, unclench your jaw. You choose how often, and you set your own waking hours so nothing disturbs your rest.

Your Buddy
A friend who reflects how your day is going. The more you get done, the happier it gets. On zero-task days it's still there, still fine, still not disappointed in you.

Streaks that forgive
Track completed tasks and day streaks if that motivates you. Everything resets fresh each morning, and unfinished tasks carry over instead of vanishing.

BUILT FOR HARD DAYS

Burnout Buddy was made for people who already know what they should be doing and can't seem to start. Burnout, AUDHD, depression, chronic illness, grief, or just a genuinely brutal week.

It won't shame you for a blank day. There are no red streak-broken warnings, no notifications guilting you back, no leaderboards. Progress is progress, no matter how small.

PRIVACY

Everything stays on your device. Your tasks, energy levels, streaks and settings are stored locally and never uploaded. There's no account, no sign-up, and no tracking.

WORKS OFFLINE

No connection needed. Open it on a plane, in a basement, or with your data switched off, and it works exactly the same.

A NOTE

Burnout Buddy is a self-help and organisation tool. It isn't therapy, medical care, or a substitute for either. If you're struggling, please reach out to a doctor, a therapist, or someone you trust.
