⚡ Everyone plays the same board. At the same time.

Every two minutes, a fresh 4x4 grid drops for every player at once. Same letters. Same clock. When the timer hits zero, the leaderboard shows exactly where you landed. 🏆

No lobbies. No waiting for an opponent. Open the app and a round is already live — or go offline for a Vocab clue trail, or a board all on your own

✏️ HOW TO PLAY

Swipe through connected letters to make a word. Go across, down, round corners, even backwards. Every letter has a value, so an X or a Q is worth hunting down — and long words score far more than short ones.

⏱️ Two minutes to play.
📊 Forty seconds to see the standings.
🔁 Then a brand-new board.

⚡ POWER WINDOWS

Partway through each round, a bonus flashes onto the board for twenty seconds:
🔥 One tile lights up and triples its letter
📏 Every word of five letters or more scores 1.5x
Spot it fast — it's worth more than one extra word.

🧵 Some boards hide a theme. Find every word in it for a bonus.

🧩 THE DAILY CLUE

One clue a day, the same for everyone.
"What a compass gives, and a film needs" — nine letters, hidden somewhere in the grid.

Some days it's a theme instead, with up to three words to track down. Crack it, keep your streak alive, and share your result without spoiling it for anyone.

🦊 VOCAB: LEARN NEW WORDS

Six clues on every board, from short words to long. Each clue is a word's meaning, read aloud as it appears, and the answer is hiding in the grid.
💡 Stuck? Take a letter, or skip and watch the answer trace across the board
⭐ Finish the trail for up to three stars
📖 Then see all six words together, with what they mean and how they're said

New to the game? Your very first board teaches you to trace.
🧘 SOLO PLAY

Just want a quiet board? No coach, a clock only if you want one, unlimited hints, no leaderboard.

✈️ Both work with no connection at all — on a plane, on the subway, anywhere the signal gives out.

🔍 WHAT YOU MISSED

Most word games show your score and move on. Filigree shows you the whole board: every word you found, every word you missed and what it was worth, plus the obscure ones nobody was going to get. Tap any word to watch its path light up on the board, read its meaning, and hear it spoken.

Then come the Close Calls — the words you almost had.
You found MEANING… the board was hiding MEANINGFUL.
You found REFER… REFERRAL was sitting right there.
That's the part that makes the next round different.

📚 YOUR WORDS

Every word you find is kept: your best find, your longest word, your latest finds, and the ones you keep coming back to. A collection that grows with every round.

🎨 PICK A LOOK

Six themes — from paper and ink to deep green to something louder — or mix your own colours. Set it once and the whole game follows.
