Keep work and private driving organised with FirstLogbook, an Android vehicle logbook for All drivers.

Record your journeys, review their purpose and see your recorded mileage in one place. Start and stop a trip manually, or set up automatic recording for your vehicle.

RECORD WITH YOUR VEHICLE
After you select a paired vehicle Bluetooth device, grant the required Android location and nearby-device permissions, approve the vehicle and enable automatic recording, its Bluetooth connection can start a GPS trip even when the app is closed. A short reconnection window helps keep brief Bluetooth dropouts in the same recording. You can stop recording manually at any time.

Automatic recording depends on your Android device, permissions and location quality. FirstLogbook identifies interruptions and missing data for review. Complete setup and review trips while parked.

KEEP BUSINESS AND PRIVATE TRIPS CLEAR
Classify journeys as Business or Private, add a business purpose and keep notes for context. Review unclassified journeys and recorded trip details when it suits you.

COMPARE GPS WITH YOUR DASHBOARD
Enter your vehicle's dashboard odometer readings separately from GPS estimates. Where the readings and recordings can be validated, FirstLogbook allocates the dashboard distance across overlapping completed trips, including trips that cross a reading time. Original readings and GPS records are preserved. Review gaps, add an explicit manual gap trip or record a correction to a saved reading when needed.

SEE YOUR MILEAGE AND EXPORT A COPY
View Business and Private recorded distance and percentages for your selected vehicle in Summary. Export CSV records to the location you choose for your own records or further review. Manage vehicle profiles with kilometres or miles.

KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR RECORDS
Trip records are stored on your phone. Create a password-protected file backup for transfer or restore. Subscribers can also choose optional Google Drive backup to their selected account's private app folder. Connecting to Drive alone uploads nothing; backups require your separate consent.

RECORDING ALLOWANCE AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
Each installation includes 20 free qualifying completed journeys with no time limit. A paid subscription is required for new recordings after that allowance is used. Monthly and annual plans are available through Google Play, and subscriptions include optional Google Drive backup. Prices and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Saved history remains viewable, editable and exportable after recording access ends.
