Looking for a Windows Vista or Windows 7 theme for Android? Vista Reimagined is an Aero glass theme launcher that brings Frutiger Aero — frosted panels, glossy Start orb, and a classic taskbar — to your phone’s home screen.

What if Aero glass never faded out, and flat design never took over mobile? Vista Reimagined is the nostalgic Windows Vista / Windows 7 style launcher for modern Android: the glassy desktop aesthetic people still search for, rebuilt as a real home screen.

Features:
- Classic Start orb, Start menu, and taskbar with familiar Windows Vista / Windows 7–inspired visuals
- Frosted-glass (Aero) panels with live blur over your wallpaper
- Dynamic gloss that changes when you tilt your phone
- Classic icons and widgets for the mobile age, automatically matched to your installed apps
- A Control Panel–style settings experience for deeper personalization
- Home screen widgets (calendar, weather, and more) that fit the Aero look

Free to use. Built for fun by an enthusiast of the Aero era. Not affiliated with Microsoft.

Your layout, icon overrides, and default-app choices stay on your device.
Calendar is used only by the Calendar widget and never leaves your device.
Location is used only by the Weather widget to fetch a forecast from the
Open-Meteo API and is sent only to Open-Meteo over HTTPS; it is not stored or
shared with anyone else. See the privacy policy for details.

Vista Reimagined uses Android's AccessibilityService API for three optional
launcher conveniences: opening the system notification shade when you swipe
down on the desktop (fallback for devices where the standard system call is
blocked), showing the power menu from the Start menu's Power shortcut, and
locking the screen when you double-tap an empty area of the desktop. The
service performs only these three global actions. It does not read your
screen, does not read any text or personal data, does not collect or share any
data, and performs no other gestures. Enabling it is optional — the launcher
works without it; only those three gestures are unavailable on some devices.
