MusixLab is where you learn a song by playing and singing along with it.
Pick a song, switch to guitar, bass or keys, and the fretboard or keyboard lights up the chord that is playing now, in time with the music video. Slow it down, loop the part you are learning and count yourself in.
When you have it, slide to go live and jam with friends from one link.

Build your music room
Open MusixLab and pick a room in one tap: Chords for your first notes on a song you know, Practice to loop the hard bar, Karaoke for one list everyone sings, DJ Party for two songs and one slider, My Songs for YouTube, Apple and your own takes in one list, Sing to see your pitch land live, or Plug In to connect your keyboard, pads or controller. Change the room any time.

Play along with chords on guitar, bass and keys
- Guitar chords, bass and piano chords light up as the song plays. Show the chord, the chord and its scale, or nothing.
- Read tabs instead of the fretboard, or a piano roll on keys. Guitar has a whammy bar and a neck-position control. Keys run from C2 to C7.
- Pick your sound: 12 guitars, 10 basses and 17 keys, from grand piano to electric piano and organ, in 18 acoustic spaces.

Practice songs at your own pace
- Slow the song down from full speed.
- Loop a part and choose how many passes.
- Add a count-in before you start.
- The chord bar and the song's sections, such as verse and chorus, show you where you are.
- When a song has a lesson, chords, backing-track or karaoke version, switch to it from Version, and set the version you prefer in Settings.
- Know a few chords? Search for 4 chord songs.

Sing along and karaoke
Sing along with the song's video, with the original or a karaoke version when there is one. Start without a mic: a melody guide plays softly and nothing is recorded. The card shows the chord, the key and the tempo as you go.

Ready to use your voice? Choose a producer style, such as The record, Crooner, Gospel, Salsa coro, Stadium rock or Scat jazz, and how much help you want: Natural, Polished or Star. A first-time mic check takes 8 seconds. After the song, your take is produced with tone, space, harmonies and tuning, right on your device. Nothing leaves your device.

Record your singing
Hold the Go Live key to record a quick take. Play it back with the song, then keep it for this visit or reject it. Takes stay on your device and are not uploaded.

Jam with friends online
Slide the Go Live key to start a room, then copy the invite link. Friends open it in their browser and join, with no account needed. In a room, everyone hears the notes you play on guitar, bass, keys or beats along with the song. Hold to talk and send cheers. Rooms you start or join are kept under My rooms, ready for the next jam session.
