MD Reader is a fast, clean Markdown viewer and editor for Android. Open .md and .markdown files, read READMEs and notes, edit them in place, and export any document to PDF — offline, with no ads, no account, and no data collected.

📖 READ MARKDOWN BEAUTIFULLY
Open any .md file from your file manager, cloud storage, or another app — no importing or copying. MD Reader renders headings, bold and italic text, links, images, quotes, GitHub-style alerts, checklists, tables, and footnotes accurately, and stays smooth with large documents and wide tables.
• Code blocks with syntax highlighting for 17 languages
• Mermaid diagrams rendered natively, with pinch-to-zoom and SVG/PNG export
• Search inside a document, with match case and whole word
• Document outline to jump between headings
• Recent files with search
• Share the file straight from the reader

📄 EXPORT TO PDF
Turn any document into a PDF in a few taps. Choose A4 or Letter, pick your margins, and add page numbers.
• Export in a clean light "Paper" look, or match your current theme
• Text and Mermaid diagrams stay sharp as vectors, and web links stay tappable
• Code blocks wrap and tables fit the page, so nothing gets cut off
• Pick where to save, then open or share the PDF right away

✏️ EDIT WITHOUT THE CLUTTER
Tap the edit icon and change any block right where it appears. Markdown syntax stays hidden until you need it.
• Floating toolbar to format text and change block types
• Bulleted, numbered, and checklist lists — turn any list into a checklist
• Interactive grid for editing tables
• Find and replace — one match or all at once, with undo
• Raw mode: edit the whole file as plain Markdown text, anytime
• Full undo and redo

💾 SAFE BY DESIGN
• Changes reach your file only when you tap Save
• Draft recovery restores your work if the app closes unexpectedly

🔒 PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
No ads, no tracking, no account. MD Reader works fully offline. Network access is limited to linked images and app update checks.

🎨 MAKE IT YOURS
• Light, dark, or system theme with four text sizes
• Made for tablets too: a comfortable reading experience in portrait and landscape modes
• Available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, and Korean

Whether you're reading README files, writing documentation, taking notes, or drafting blog posts, MD Reader keeps the focus on your Markdown — and turns it into a shareable PDF when you're done.
