Crude Oil Metrics is a professional field calculator for crude oil quantity determination. Built for inspectors and operators who need accurate, offline calculations in the field.

Tank Gauging Calculator
Complete calculation chain from raw gauge reading to net mass output:
• Gross Observed Volume (GOV) with calibration table interpolation
• Density correction at 15°C with editable correction tables
• Volume Correction Factor (VCF)
• Water, sediment, and salts impurity calculations
• Net volume and net mass output
• Auto-fill helpers for density correction and VCF
• Full calculation breakdown shown automatically

Density and VCF Calculator
Standalone tools that share the same math as the main calculator:
• Density correction at 15°C from observed density and temperature
• Reverse density: derive observed density from a known density at 15°C
• VCF determination with full breakdown

Stock Analysis
• Total stock, dead stock, workable stock, and available space figures in volume and mass
• Optional secondary analysis when the available space holds a product with different properties
• Visual tank diagram showing dead, workable, and available zones

Hourly Reports
• Track loading and unloading operations across multiple time intervals
• Per-interval volumes, masses, and deltas versus the previous reading
• Optional mid-operation analysis override that flows forward to later entries

Blend Calculator
• Multi-component blending with per-component density, temperature, and impurities
• Mass and volume balances across components
• Full calculation breakdown shown automatically

Sampling
• Compute sampling points from liquid height, fixed point, and outlet level
• Tier-based templates with custom point configurations via the Template Editor

Tank Management
• Save and manage multiple tanks with calibration tables
• Import calibration data from CSV
• Link tanks to locations with configurable salts factors
• Track calibration expiry dates

Receipts
• Save and review calculation history
• Pair full and empty measurements into a single report
• Filter by date and export as PDF, CSV, or XLSX

Alerts
• Define threshold rules with configurable comparison operators
• Applied to Tank Calculator results across density, temperature, volumes, masses, and impurities

Notes and Documents
• Built-in notes with image attachments, folder organization, and an optional floating panel that stays visible across screens
• Import reference PDFs, organize them into folders, and bookmark pages

Key Features
• Fully offline, no internet connection required
• No data collected or transmitted; everything stays on your device
• Optional automatic backups with user-controlled retention and in-app restore
• Density-unit switcher: g/cm³ and kg/m³
• Multiple number formats (European, US, space-separated, no-grouping)
• Dark, light, and system theme
• Keep screen on during field use
