Learn Arabic with stories. Tap any word for its translation, listen to audio narration, answer comprehension quizzes, and remember what you read with smart flashcards.

Takalam is a free app to learn Arabic by building real reading, vocabulary, and comprehension skills. Instead of memorizing isolated words and grammar rules, you learn Arabic in context — through illustrated stories, audio, and revision tools designed for daily practice.

Read Arabic stories

The heart of Takalam is a library of illustrated stories that make reading Arabic accessible. Each story unfolds page by page with Arabic text, visuals, and support so you understand the language naturally. Whether you start as a complete beginner or want to build a daily reading habit, every session moves you forward — from your first Arabic letters to full sentences and complete stories.
