Not-An-Alarm wakes you up with your day, written fresh every morning. Instead of a beep, a natural voice tells you the weather, what's on your calendar, the tasks you have due and a few headlines. Then you're up.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick your wake time and the days you want it.
2. Pick a voice. Listen to all 30 first, in any of 46 languages.
3. Choose what goes in: the weather for your city, Google Calendar and Tasks, and news on the topics you like.
Every morning, just before your alarm, your morning is written for that day and read to you.

YOUR MORNING, AS A PODCAST
Pick Podcast, and your morning becomes a short show about your day and your life: one host asks, the other answers. Your night, your plans, the weather for when you head out, the news. New every morning, and only about you. With Premium.

IT KNOWS HOW YOU SLEPT
Switch on Sleep and activity, and your morning knows your sleep, your steps, your workouts and your resting heart rate from Health Connect: from your phone, your watch, or apps like Samsung Health and Fitbit. A short night or yesterday's run can find its way into how your day is told. With Premium.

WAKING UP
• A full-screen wake-up, even on a locked phone, with captions that follow the voice
• A gentle start: a soft chime, then the voice fades in
• Snooze picks up where the voice left off, and "I'm up" takes you to your day

TODAY
• Replay your morning, or read it
• The weather at a glance, with a rain check at the times you head out
• Your events, the tasks due today and the ones still open, and the headlines, each one tap away
• Say how the morning was, and ask for shorter mornings, less news or more about your day

MAKE IT YOURS
• Put weather, calendar, tasks and news in the order you want, or switch any of them off
• Short, standard or long; friendly, calm, upbeat, to the point or funny
• Add anything else in your own words, like "keep the news short"

PRIVACY
Google Calendar and Tasks are optional. When connected, your events and tasks are read only to write your morning: they're sent to Google Gemini to write it, with other people's email addresses left out. Your mornings are kept for 30 days so you can replay them, then deleted. You can disconnect Google or delete your account at any time from the app.

Sleep and activity is optional. When it's on, your phone sends a short summary per day (minutes slept, steps, workouts, resting heart rate), used only to write your morning: it goes to Google Gemini for that. It's never sold or used for ads, and you can switch it off any time.

Not-An-Alarm's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

WHY I MADE IT
For too long, waking up has meant the same sound, a quick weather update, nothing that makes you look forward to the day. I wanted an alarm that knows my day and tells it like a story, not a list, so I'm curious about what it will say tomorrow. I thought about it on and off for a decade, and the technology finally caught up.
