AnyCopy reads the text in your pictures and keeps what you copy and paste, all on your phone, offline, with no internet permission.

AnyText: copy text from any image
• Take a photo, pick one from your phone, or share a screenshot or picture to AnyCopy from another app.
• Tap the text blocks you want, in the order you want them, then copy or edit them. Copy also saves the text as a note.
• Reads Latin, Chinese, Japanese and Korean text.
• Scan QR codes and barcodes.
• Text recognition runs on your device.

Copy and paste history
• Copy anywhere, open AnyCopy, and your copy is saved as a note.
• Add the optional AnyCopy Keyboard and copies from any app are saved without opening AnyCopy.
• AnyCopy Keyboard is deliberately plain: no emoji, no prediction, no corrections. It is there to save your copies, not to replace a full-featured keyboard, and it saves nothing you type.
• Clips that other apps mark as sensitive, such as passwords from a password manager, are never saved.

Notes that stay organised
• Folders, tags and favorites, all free.
• Email addresses, phone numbers and links are tagged automatically.
• Search your notes by title and content.
• Merge several notes into one.
• Date templates: copy today's date in the format you need.

AnyCopy Premium
• Back up your notes to an encrypted file you can restore on any phone or open on your computer, by hand or automatically, once a day or sooner when many notes change.
• Creating backups is the one thing AnyCopy charges for: a yearly subscription at the price you choose, from $6 a year. Restoring a backup is always free, and everything else in AnyCopy is free.
• Bought AnyCopy Premium once in an earlier version? It stays yours for life.

Private by design
• No internet permission: nothing you copy can leave your phone through AnyCopy.
• Your notes are stored in an encrypted database on your phone.
• Your notes are not included in Android backup.
• Choose who can open your notes: Carefree, like any app on your phone; Private, like your banking app, opened only by your fingerprint, face or Master Password; or Lockdown, like a vault, where once AnyCopy is locked only your Master Password opens your notes. Lock individual notes and folders too.
• Light, dark or follow the system theme.

Permissions AnyCopy asks for
• Camera: to scan text, QR codes and barcodes.
• Notifications: one silent notification. AnyCopy works the same without it.

Android 10 and later let an app read the clipboard only while it is on screen or is your keyboard. That is why AnyCopy saves your latest copy when you open it, and why AnyCopy Keyboard is offered as an optional step.
