Have you ever needed a reason to get out of an uncomfortable or awkward situation? Or wanted to be somewhere else but didn't have a polite excuse to leave?

- TexScape lets you schedule a real, custom text message to yourself, timed for when you need it. Set it up ahead of time before you walk into a scenario you know you may need out of, or press a button to trigger a Panic Text in about 60 seconds.

- A real text arrives on your phone. Your graceful exit is here. You'll always know exactly how to leave when you feel trapped.

How it works

Save your TexScape number as a contact in your mobile device, like "Mom" or "Boss." Write your own customized text message. Set your time. That's it. The text will look exactly like a real message from someone you know, and you have your excuse.

Made for real moments

Use it to escape a bad date that's going nowhere. A boring family gathering that's run too long. A tedious work event you're ready to leave. Any time you want out without being rude, TexScape is here to help make your fake emergency look real. You'll get a genuine text that gives you a reason to leave.

Good for social anxiety or overwhelm

Do crowds or noise wear you out? Are you overstimulated and need to leave without making a scene? If you need an excuse to leave a social event, now you have one! No explanation or guilt. Whenever you need it, just schedule a text to send yourself later for an excuse.

Built-in safety, too

TexScape also offers a discreet way to support your personal safety. Upgrade to attach a backup contact alert to your Standard Text or Panic Text; it will be sent the moment your main text message goes out, so someone knows to check up on you.
