Rehearsal Jr is a daily reading and speaking habit for school students. Every day has a small plan: read three short stories, finish two chapters, and record one journal entry. Ten minutes is enough.

Stories written for your class
Each morning we pick real stories from trusted Indian publishers and rewrite every one at three reading levels, so a class 5 student and a class 11 student read the same event in words that fit them. Every story is about a hundred words, comes with a picture, a short quiz, four words to know, and a link to the original article. Pick the topics you like, from space and sport to wildlife and money, and your feed puts them first. Tap Make this simpler if a story feels hard.

Chapters from your school reader
Short digests of English reader chapters for every class: what you will learn, a summary, and a swipeable deck of words to know. Finishing the word deck finishes the chapter. Every chapter is open to every class, with your own class first.

A journal that is only yours
One prompt a day: tell me about your day. Record it, and the app writes it down for you. Entries are saved, never scored, and nothing reads them unless you ask for feedback yourself.

Speak, then see how you spoke
Every story and chapter ends with one short question you answer aloud for 30 to 60 seconds. You get feedback on how well your answer matched the question, how clearly it hung together, your grammar, your pace and your energy, with tips that quote your own words. Keep practising and your speaking level climbs from Just starting upwards.

Streaks and My Week
Four rings track stories, quizzes, chapters and journal entries. My Week shows how many days you showed up and which topics you actually read. Counts, never grades.

For parents and guardians
A parent or guardian gives consent by email before any AI feature switches on, and can withdraw it at any time. An optional weekly email tells you what your student read and finished. It never includes the content of a journal entry, only a count. Reminders are optional and local to the phone.

Free, private, no ads
Rehearsal Jr is completely free. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads, no tracking across other apps. Sign in with Google or Apple. Delete your account and every recording from inside the app whenever you like.
