Is my bag real or fake? Photograph a handbag and get a written verdict in seconds — not just a score, but the reasons behind it.

WHAT YOU GET

A legit check that explains itself. Verró reads stitch pitch and seam alignment, hardware finish and engraving depth, logo proportions, edge painting and date-code placement, then tells you which details support the piece and which do not. Most apps hand you a number. This one shows its work.

An authenticity score out of 100 with a clear verdict: authentic, suspect, replica or inconclusive.

Market value. Retail and current resale ranges, so you know what the bag is worth before you buy, sell or insure it.

A PDF report you can send. Timestamped, with your photographs, the findings and the reasoning behind them. Send it to a buyer, to a consignment store, or keep it for your own records. Choose a light or a dark layout.

Your collection. Every bag you check is saved with its verdict and its value, so your portfolio total stays current.

WHAT IT LOOKS AT

Construction — stitch pitch, seam alignment, edge painting, panel symmetry and lining fit.
Hardware — finish, weight cues, engraving depth and the shape of the fastenings.
Markings — logo proportions, font weight and spacing, heat stamps, serial and date codes.
Materials — grain, texture and the way the leather takes light.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Photograph the bag — front on, the logo, the hardware and the interior stamp.
2. The analysis runs in seconds.
3. Read the verdict, the reasoning and the valuation. Export the report if you want one.

No expertise needed. It works on designer handbags, purses, totes and shoulder bags across the major fashion houses, on new pieces and on vintage and secondhand ones alike.

WHO IT IS FOR

Buyers checking a listing before they commit. Sellers who want to show a buyer more than a photograph. Resellers and thrifters working through secondhand marketplaces and consignment boutiques. Collectors keeping a record of what they own and what it is worth. Anyone who has been offered a deal that looks a little too good.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Can it spot a good fake? It catches the details a counterfeit usually gets wrong — the ones listed above. A superfake photographed badly can still get through, which is why the report tells you how confident it is instead of pretending to be certain.

Does it work on any brand? It is built for luxury and designer handbags generally, not a single house.

Do I need the receipt or the dust bag? No. It reads the bag itself. A receipt proves a purchase, not an item.

What if I disagree with the verdict? Write to us with the report. Cases where the app was wrong are the ones we learn the most from.

HONEST LIMITS

This is an AI-assisted assessment for guidance. It is not a certificate of authenticity, not an appraisal, and not a substitute for a physical inspection by a qualified authenticator. Photographs can only show so much, and a good replica can pass a bad photograph. On a high-value transaction, treat it as a second opinion rather than the last word.
