Wordsum takes a classic idea - words stacked up like an addition problem - and turns it into a pure logic puzzle. Two or more words are added together to make a result word: SEND + MORE = MONEY. Every letter secretly stands for exactly one digit, 0 through 9. The same letter always means the same digit wherever it appears, no two letters ever share a digit, and no word can start with a 0. Your job is to work out the full mapping using nothing but the arithmetic itself.

There isn't a single freebie or hint anywhere in Wordsum, and there doesn't need to be. Every equation is checked by a solver before it's included, and the constraint is strong enough on its own: given the puzzle exactly as shown, there is one and only one digit assignment that makes the sum true. Carries between columns are your real tool here - the same instinct you'd use adding two numbers by hand becomes the key to cracking the whole thing.

WHAT'S INSIDE

- 60 handcrafted equations across three difficulty tiers: Easy, Medium, and Hard
- Difficulty scales with how many distinct letters are in play, from a handful up to nearly all ten digits
- Real English words throughout, including a set built from spelled-out numbers for a playful extra layer
- Some Hard puzzles stack three words into the sum instead of two, for a genuinely deeper deduction chain
- A clean digit keypad with instant conflict handling - reassigning a digit moves it, never duplicates it
- A live tracker showing which of the ten digits are already spoken for
- Progress and stars saved automatically so you can return to any puzzle later
- No timers, no penalties - just the equation and your reasoning

WHO IT'S FOR

If you've ever enjoyed a classic cryptarithm - or you like sudoku for the deduction and crosswords for the "aha" - Wordsum is built around that same instinct, just with addition as the constraint instead of a grid. It rewards patient, step-by-step logic over speed, so it works equally well for a quick puzzle on a break or a slow, satisfying Hard-tier session.

The math never lies. Follow it to the one answer.
