Get the most out of the sound system you already have. CarSweep measures your car with your phone and tells you exactly what to set: the sliders of your car's own EQ or filters for your DSP. Tighter bass, clearer vocals, highs without the harshness.

Your car is boomy in one seat and thin in the next. Turning the bass knob never really fixes it, because the problem is not your gear but the space it plays in. That is what CarSweep corrects. No laptop, no measurement rig, no acoustics degree.

EZ Tuning:
Start here if you are looking for a guided flow to set your equalizer. Choose your system's EQ filters and CarSweep will guide you through to the ideal settings: one sweep, then a number for every slider you actually have. Profiles for Tesla Model 3/Y (standard and premium audio) and VW/Audi with MIB3 are built in, plus the classic bass, mid and treble set.

Expert Mode:
Set up the measurement specifically for your needs. Change the frequency range, the sweep length and the number of runs, play on both channels or only left or right, and start measuring.
CarSweep shows the result with delay and signal to noise, and the EQ parameters to match: parametric or fixed band, 6 to 31 bands, Pioneer and Kenwood 13-band presets or your own grid, in 0.5, 1 or 2 dB steps. Edit them by hand, name the measurement and export the values as a band table or JSON.

Real Time Analyzer:
A live audio spectrum analyzer for your system: 31 third octave bands on pink noise, with a target curve on top and three averaging modes.

EQ Designer:
Don't know the exact bands of the filters on your system? Measure them individually to find out their values and save them as a profile to tune with. Move each slider all the way up and down while CarSweep listens, and it learns the filter type, frequency, width and dB per step.

Target Curve:
CarSweep offers four preset curves: Car, Room, Flat and Bass+. You can also use your own, by editing one in the app or importing a house curve from REW.

EQ Simulation:
CarSweep lets you run a sweep with the correction already in the test signal, to test the values and fine-tune them before you change anything on your stereo. If the result does not match the prediction, it says so and revises the numbers.

What You Need:
Your phone is enough. CarSweep plays its sweep over Bluetooth or cable and records it with the built-in mic. UMIK-1 and other USB measurement mics work too, with their calibration files.

Free and Pro:
Free covers 250 Hz to 10 kHz, the bass, mid and treble controls of a car stereo, and a 6-band EQ. One purchase, no subscription, adds:
• The full range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, where the subwoofer and the boom live
• EQ Designer and vehicle profiles for specific factory systems
• EQ simulation, parametric EQ, every band grid and your own
• Your own target curve, or a house curve from REW
• External USB measurement microphones and their calibration files

No account, no tracking, no ads. Measurements stay on your phone.
