Kidz Playlist is a parent control app for YouTube that helps families allow YouTube while restricting what kids can watch.

If you have been looking for a way to let your child watch YouTube without open browsing, random recommendations, or unwanted videos, Kidz Playlist gives you a whitelist-based approach. Parents approve the content first. Kids watch only what has been allowed.

Kidz Playlist is built for parents who want:
safe YouTube for kids
YouTube parental controls
whitelisted videos
approved channels only
no YouTube Shorts
screen time limits
profile-based controls
a simpler kid-friendly video player

HOW KIDZ PLAYLIST WORKS

Kidz Playlist turns YouTube into a parent-managed, approved-only viewing experience.

Instead of giving kids full access to YouTube, parents create a restricted library by adding:
specific public YouTube videos
entire YouTube creators or channels

Once content is approved, kids can watch only from their allowed library. There is no open search experience for kids and no free browsing through unrelated content.

KEY FEATURES

Parent-controlled YouTube access
Give kids access to approved YouTube content without handing over open-ended YouTube browsing.

Whitelist-only video playback
Kidz Playlist works like a YouTube whitelist app. Parents choose exactly what is allowed. If it is not approved, kids cannot watch it.

Approve by creator or by video
Add a trusted YouTube creator or channel to bring in approved uploads, or add one specific video at a time for tighter control.

No YouTube Shorts
Designed for families who do not want kids drifting into YouTube Shorts.

Block anything you do not want watched
Parents stay in control. Allow specific content, remove content, or block videos as needed.

Child profiles
Create separate profiles for each child so siblings can each have their own approved library, favorites, and limits.

Parent PIN protection
Keep parent settings locked behind a PIN so children stay in their approved viewing mode.

Daily screen time limits
Set daily watch limits for each child profile to help support healthy routines and balanced screen time.

Favorites
Children can save favorites from their approved content so it is easy to replay the videos they love most.

WHY PARENTS USE KIDZ PLAYLIST

Many parents want to allow YouTube because there are great songs, stories, learning videos, crafts, and trusted family creators. The hard part is restricting YouTube so kids do not wander into videos you did not choose.

Kidz Playlist helps solve that problem by giving parents a way to:
allow YouTube but restrict content
create a whitelist of approved videos
allow only specific channels
stop random viewing
avoid Shorts
set limits
manage multiple kids from one app

This makes Kidz Playlist useful for families searching for:
how to restrict YouTube for kids
how to whitelist YouTube videos
YouTube app with parent controls
safe YouTube app for kids
approved videos only
YouTube channel whitelist
block YouTube Shorts for kids

A CALMER WAY FOR KIDS TO WATCH

Kidz Playlist is ideal for families who want a locked-down YouTube experience with approved-only videos, trusted creators, no Shorts, and parent-managed screen time.
