Ikhtiar — Find Marriage the Halal Way

Ikhtiar is a Muslim matrimonial app built for those who are truly serious about marriage — "nikah" — not casual conversations.

Designed with intention, privacy, and Islamic values at its core, Ikhtiar creates a space where meaningful connections can grow into real, lasting marriages.

Why Ikhtiar is Different

Nikah Assistant

Stop endless swiping. Just ask the Nikah Assistant.

With Ikhtiar’s Nikah Assistant, you can simply type what kind of spouse you are looking for — for example: age range, location, ethnicity, height, religiosity, lifestyle, family values, marriage goals, or any qualities that matter to you.

Instead of scrolling through random profiles, the assistant understands your description and brings you relevant profiles that match what you’re looking for.

Whether you want someone practicing, family-oriented, open to relocating, from a certain background, or serious about nikah soon — just describe it, and the Nikah Assistant helps you search with clarity and intention.

It makes finding a spouse more focused, respectful, and marriage-minded.

Intent-Based Matching — No Time Wasters

Ikhtiar filters out unserious interactions from the start.

Before a conversation begins, matches must answer thoughtful intent-based questions set on your profile — helping you understand their mindset, expectations, and seriousness upfront.

Privacy First — Designed for Women

You’re always in control of your visibility:

* Upload photos normally
* Blur your photos until you approve someone
* Or choose not to upload photos at all

Your comfort and privacy come first — always.

Hijabi & No-Photo Profiles

Not comfortable sharing photos? No problem.

Ikhtiar supports fully private profiles without requiring women to upload pictures, allowing women to participate without compromising their modesty, comfort, or values.

Verified & Serious Community

We focus on quality over quantity:

* Selfie verification to ensure real users
* Profiles designed for marriage, not casual dating
* A respectful environment built around Islamic principles
