Cold mornings, grey fetch, and a breeze that feels different every hundred metres — that is when the wrong foil or wing ruins the day before you even get planing. Northreach is built for that northern edge: a local companion that remembers which setups hold in chop, which ones love light air aloft, and which ones leave you tired by lunch.

You do not need a signal on the slipway. Open the app, check what you packed last time you faced similar water and wind, and leave with a clear plan instead of a boot full of maybes.

Foil and sail libraries up north
Store each board setup with the hardware that matters — board, fin, foil, wing or sail size — plus the conditions where that combo actually worked. Label them for the days you know: early-season chop, glassy lagoon, stiff onshore. When a light-air window opens, you are not reinventing the quiver from a foggy memory.

Session notes while you are still cold
After you land, log location, date, water state, and wind, then score stability, control, speed, and fatigue from one to five. Those marks stack into a quiet record of what felt planted on foil and what quietly drained your legs in a long upwind slog.

Shore kit, checked twice
Reusable pack checklists catch the small betrayals — leash on the porch, pump still in the shed, spare fuselage bolt under the workbench. Run the list before you leave home and again at the beach so nothing waits for you back inland.

Pick the day, pull the setup
Choose water type, wind, and the goal for the outing. Northreach looks through the setups you already saved and points to the one that fits that brief — your gear, your notes, not a textbook chart.

Ding trail and board care
Keep a repair and maintenance log against each board. Note dings, patches, foil checks, and rinse days so a soft rail or a tired screw does not surprise you mid-session when the water is already cold enough.

• Built for foilers, wing riders, and board sailors who ride in real weather
• Fully usable offline on the beach, the jetty, or a windy car park
• All entries live in a local database on your handset
• No account, no feed, nothing to sync away

Northreach stays offline and private by design: your setups, sessions, checklists, and care notes never leave the device.
