VarThings is a local-first smart home app that puts you in full control of your connected devices — no cloud dependency, no subscription, no compromise.

Discover, configure, and control your smart home devices directly over your local Wi-Fi network. VarThings works with a growing range of devices including Shelly smart switches and relays, VarAudio internet radio players, and more — all managed from a single, beautifully designed app.

ORGANIZE BY AREA
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Group your devices by room, floor, or zone. Create custom areas with names and photos so your home is always organized exactly the way you think about it. At a glance, see every device in every space.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
LOCAL-FIRST, PRIVACY BY DESIGN
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
VarThings discovers and controls devices entirely on your local network. Your device state, commands, and automation data never leave your home or pass through our servers. Only your account credentials are stored — securely, with industry-standard encryption.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
VARAUDIO
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Stream internet radio to any VarAudio device in your home. Browse and manage your favourite stations, control playback, and adjust volume — all without leaving the app. Internet radio streams are fetched directly on your device; we never log your listening activity.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
EASY DEVICE SETUP
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Adding a new device is simple. VarThings guides you through the provisioning steps — connect, configure, assign to an area — and your device is ready to use in minutes.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
DESIGNED FOR YOUR HOME
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
VarThings is built with a clean, dark-themed interface designed for quick access at any time of day. Everything is fast, intuitive, and built around how you actually use your home.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
YOUR ACCOUNT, YOUR DATA
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Sign up with your email address to sync your areas and device configuration across devices. Change your name, email, or password at any time. You can request full account and data deletion at any time from within the app or at varthings.com/delete-account.html.
