Turn a single dusty road into a thriving metropolis.

Boomtown is a relaxing but deep city builder made for phones and tablets. Paint homes, shops and industry, connect power and water, and watch your citizens move in, raise families, commute to work and tell you exactly what they think.

A CITY THAT REALLY LIVES
• Every car is on its way somewhere: commuters pick routes, jams form at rush hour, and better roads or bus and train lines fix them.
• Car-free households walk or ride transit, so stops near homes and jobs matter.
• Residents judge everything: jobs, commute, safety, schools, parks, noise, pollution and the cost of living.
• Tap any building to see how it's doing and exactly why it isn't growing.

GENERATIONS
• Kids, parents and grandparents age year by year; young adults move out to start their own homes.
• Kindergartens raise birth rates, doctors raise life expectancy, schools fill up and empty out, cemeteries slowly run out of space.
• Set the retirement age and parental leave, then watch your age pyramid shift a decade later.

SEASONS AND WEATHER
• Heat waves push air-conditioning demand, cold snaps need heating.
• Clouds dim your solar farms, storms spin your wind turbines.
• Snow blankets the town in winter, trees turn gold in autumn, harvests peak in summer.
• New cities follow your hemisphere's seasons with the Local calendar, on by default.

GROW YOUR ECONOMY
• Farms feed your people: sell the surplus, store part of it in a food reserve or pay for imports.
• Mines dig ore from the mountains until the vein runs dry.
• High-tech industry moves in once your city is well educated.
• Research 17 technologies and build grand projects like the World Expo and the Space Center.

A TOWN WORTH VISITING
• Landmarks, old-town streets and pedestrian zones draw tourists; an airport flies them in by the planeload.
• Hotels collect a tourist tax. When they're full, visitors rent flats your residents can no longer live in.
• Crowds bring crime, noise and rising rents, so cap short-term rentals or double the tourist tax.

PLAY YOUR WAY
• A short, skippable tutorial and missions with cash rewards.
• Six maps from easy river valleys to hard deserts and archipelagos.
• Choose flat, gentle, varied or rugged terrain for each new city.
• Curved roads, dirt tracks, avenues and pedestrian streets; bus, tram and train lines.
• Hold any button to learn what it does. Undo your last moves.
• Built for touch: place, preview, confirm. Left-handed mode, a larger interface (UI size) and colour-blind data maps.
• Landscape only on Android, tablets included.
• Plays fully offline. No ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking.
